Ed (s) . When is Koeman getting announced? Can you give Farhad a quick call and ask him?

Koeman news aside for one minute, Leandro Rodriguez, Ed do you think he has a future with the club? His loan didn't go so well last season did it or was that just down to injury? Does Unsworth rate him?

Kenyan_Toffee

{Ed025's Note - he has not had the best of luck with injuries kenyan but to be fair he never really set the place alight at brentford, i would like to think he would progress but im not sure he has what it takes mate..

I thought so. Well I suppose it was always going to be a gamble. Let's see what the new coaching staff make of him.

Nick agree with you on this.

If Marcel Brands is coming to Everton then as the Director of Football he will have a style of play in mind.

I cannot see Allardyce dovetailing with his appointment.

Ed25 may be right and he stays one more season in order for the club to get the right guy but the bottom line is Sam is a stop gap to better things, ensuring we stay competetive (dire football i know) in the league i. e. top 10 finish. Not good enough for our club, agreed but I do think we will start getting things right in the next couple of seasons.

As they say, a journey of a thousands steps starts with the first. The first was last summer and i expect us to make more progress this summer.

Since 1987 this club has been on a downward trajectory and unfortunatley it'll take time to fix.

Sports Pesa (money in Swahili) are growing very quickly here in East Africa. As someone who has lived in Nairobi for the past 7 years, with regards to any rumours, I'll simply state where there is smoke there is usually fire here.

Ed, why is it that every year you can bet your house and your life savings that Everton will be one of the slowest at signing players? If this rests with Robert Elstone is there a chance under the new regime that he could be replaced? I find this situation very frustrating, especially when Leicester, West Ham and the like can get deals done quickly. What are your thoughts?

Kenyan_Toffee

{Ed025's Note - the euro,s and having a new manager has not really helped us to do our business as early as we wanted kenyan, the way we operate will change in the future when moshiri gets his director of football installed though mate..

Nick, sure that's possible but Burnley is no Everton. As Howe is an Everton fan, I think the chances are slim. I really think he'd be good.

What is wrong with E. Howe? Young English manager, plays good football, is an Everton fan and is doing as well as one could with a tin pot club like Bournemouth. What size is their ground? 11,000 🀭

Finishes of 16th, 9th and could finish 10th this year. That’s really not bad going.

Silva is a mercenary and I’d be surprised if Fonseca joined.

Viera - Major League experience only
Wenger - passed it
Arteta - massive gamble

Who else?!

Howe and Brands for me πŸ‘ŒπŸ».

Couldn't agree more Garyo, whilst it has been a frustrating not having the money to compete with our premier league rivals, Bill Kenwright truly loves Everton and Moshiri looks very promising. I can't remember ever being this excited about a close season before. COYB!
