I should not be saying this on the internet but jose it coming to everton at the end of the season also rooney is coming in. mark my words.

Jayefc1878

{Ed025's Note - nothing this end on that jay, but i never say never mate..

1.) 13 Mar 2016 15:01:03
Words have been marked and filed under "bel wove it when I see it" I'll be happy Jose but Rooney wouldn't excite me!

2.) 13 Mar 2016 15:12:20
If this is true this would prove we are moving to the next level.
Mourinho is proven class and can close a game out unlike Bobby!
Fingers crossed because this would defiantly bring either a trophy, CL football or both which with our squad should be a given.
It would also guarantee that our best players stay put which for me is more important than adding to the squad (even though we definitely need a couple of new faces in the summer) .

3.) 13 Mar 2016 15:54:39
Cant stand Mourinho myself but would have him as our next manager now. Whatever else he is the man is a winner full stop his record proves it.

4.) 13 Mar 2016 15:55:49
Mourinho comes in rom goes out make your choice I know which one I'd take and it wouldn't be the special one no youth would come thru and after 3 years he would be off.

5.) 13 Mar 2016 16:05:05
You should not be saying that on the internet because its a load of bolleaux basically! ;-)

6.) 13 Mar 2016 16:44:46
Why would Mourinho in mean Rom out? I read reports they have a good relationship and still speak.

7.) 15 Mar 2016 10:20:04
Thats as likely as Lukaku going off for treatment in the semi and Kone tarearsing on the pitch with Lukaku back up and thinking wtf i'm fit get off, Kone as new replacement then excels with a 25 yard pele escape to victory overhead kick goal.

09 Mar 2016 15:17:17
Before people jump down my neck this is just a few rumours. rooney is coming in the summer and 'the special one' is close friends with our new invester and he wants a new project this is the perfect time for him to come to a club like everton mark my words.

Jayefc1878

{Ed025's Note -only time will tell on that one jay..

1.) 09 Mar 2016 15:35:15
I hope Morinio does not come to our club, he is not special he is a fraud loke Martinez. He cannot work without a big budget and Everton's will not be big enough.
People will point to Porto but let's face it they are like Celtic Scotland. Chelsie sacked him twice!

2.) 09 Mar 2016 15:50:31
. some fraud. he's only gone and won the champions league umpteen times, league titles in every country he's managed in, fa cups, Mickey Mouse cups, super league cups. do I need to go on? Check out his cv buddy and you'll soon realize Mourinhio is no fraud. he's a character yes - but more importantly, he wins things everywhere he goes. league titles, cup finals. something which we at Everton haven't won now for nearly 30 years. he's a proven winner and for me he should be installed as Everton fc's new manager at the end of the season with a substantial war chest at his disposal. I doubt you'll be moaning if he won us the premier league in his first season in charge!

{Ed025's Note - in the end its all about opinions soli, his CV is impressive of that there is no doubt but his personality is not everyones cup of tea mate..

3.) 09 Mar 2016 16:16:32
I think he's one of those guys when he's on your side you love him. When you're against him you hate him. One thing he has is passion which I think would be welcome at Everton. As well as some great tactics which are badly needed.

4.) 09 Mar 2016 16:51:50
Google HITC sport he has done a interview seems I was right.

5.) 09 Mar 2016 17:21:09
I'd love him to come and bring Zlatan with him despite his age.

6.) 09 Mar 2016 17:48:58
He won the Champions League with Porto! You can knock the guy - he moans, he's abrasive and he lost it this season, but if he came, you've got to see that as our best shot of winning something. Can't see it myself, but I hope I'm wrong. He'd definitely be a massive improvement in what we've got now. Mind you, Harry Redknapp would be a massive improvement in what we've got now. Come to think of it, Jamie Redknapp would be an improvement on Bobby.

7.) 09 Mar 2016 20:11:06
Definitely take Mourinho. He'd be coming for the short term as he never stays at one club too long.

Milomj Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea twice but can you name another club that sacked him?

No you can't because that's the only time he got sacked. First time because Abramovich thought Chelsea were too good for him and if I'm not mistaken he came out afterwards and said he shouldn't of sacked him.

The amount of clubs he managed and managed successfully is unreal. We won't see the likes of him for again for awhile.

I'm not his biggest fan in terms of his personality and it does get in the way sometimes. The players wanted him gone this season. It's obvious, they are playing much better now.

Saying that I admire him. He's a winner and a winner wherever he went. Multiple countries, he knows how shape a squad into winners.

Most importantly he knows how to set a team up defensively and definitely knows how to close out a game. Its not always pretty but the job gets done.

They say goals win games but conceding very few win trophies. Something that would improve us a lot is that theory. Setting up a proper defence. Scrap that stupid theory if you score 3 we'll score 4. More like we'll go 3 up and then we'll let 3 in or maybe even 4. I have yet to see that theory work.

The vast majority of seasons the team that wins the league have let in the fewest goals. We had a defence with them capabilities when Martinez took over. That side of Everton has gone to bits since Martinez introduced his tactics and style.

No doubt Mourinho would sort that out and have us playing like winners. With the squad we have and a few tweaks in the summer god knows where we'd be next season.

8.) 09 Mar 2016 20:38:17
Don't want to pee on anyone's bonfire but I checked the odds for next Everton manager: big Dunc is the current favorite, followed by OFM, Phil Neville, AVB and Hiddink. After that were down to Brenda and bleedin Jamie Carragher! No mention of Mourinho, de Boer and co.

{Ed025's Note - shoot me now..

9.) 09 Mar 2016 20:39:48
Didn't he also get sacked by Real Madrid?

10.) 09 Mar 2016 20:51:00
The only worry I have bringing in mourinho I don't think he will help the development of the young players.

11.) 09 Mar 2016 21:25:21
Nope CToffee, he left on mutual agreement at the end of the season. At the beginning of that same season he signed a new 4 year contract with Real Madrid. After spending 4 years there already.

Just for good measure before Zidane was announced as Real Madrid's new manager earlier this year they offered the job to Mourinho.

He obviously turned it down. His reason being he wants to remain in the EPL. I hate to say it but we could be his second choice. Its been branded about he wants Utd job.

Don't think that would be any easier than Everton job. He'll have his work cut out if he goes there and big pressure with the way they are going since AF left.

12.) 09 Mar 2016 22:59:02
Can't beileve poeple think mourinho is possible, despite doing a god awful job lately by disrupting the whole of Chelsea do poeple really beileve he's a genuine candidate, by the way Rooney will be in the USA next because money talks and even with 100 billion we can't offer more.

13.) 09 Mar 2016 23:53:20
Rooney won't be in american he already turned down 500k a week to china he has knows he owes everton.

14.) 10 Mar 2016 08:14:55
I'm loving your enthusiasm mikedeblue 😒

Before investment I would of thought Mourinho was not a possibility. I actually laughed at someone here when they suggested that months ago.

Circumstances have changed, although I'm not convinced he'd come to Everton the likelihood has increased due to investment. Money talks and we have a good squad as it is so I ask you why would he not come to Everton?

The future is bright and we are going to be competing at the top again.

15.) 10 Mar 2016 19:10:52
Fraud or not. its mourinho. Players want to play for him. Abit like pep. So he could attract big names if the money is there. Which until I actually see it being spend I am trying to not get too excited.

16 Feb 2016 17:39:55
Tom cahill contract terminated in china anyone else like to see him pull on the blue shirt again? Or atleast on the staff?

Jayefc1878

{Ed025's Note - i would prefer tim jay.. :)

1.) 16 Feb 2016 20:00:08
I didn't even realise ha i'm an idiot.

2.) 17 Feb 2016 12:29:17
Are you serious?

3.) 17 Feb 2016 12:33:31
On the staff, definitely. Would probably help Ross improve his positioning; absolutely no where near the actual first team though. We need to start integrating more youngsters, not bringing back past it 30 somethings.

4.) 17 Feb 2016 12:38:49
Serious about what?

5.) 19 Feb 2016 19:25:01
Agree with ab great to have him back as coach.

11 Feb 2016 10:35:06
Apparently jagielka to china.

Jayefc1878

1.) 11 Feb 2016 11:05:48
Dismissed this morning in press conference.

2.) 11 Feb 2016 11:43:39
They will dismiss anything. if the chinese club want it to happen trust me it will happen look at jackson martinez and the kopite target they are offering stupid money.

3.) 11 Feb 2016 12:38:11
From what I've heated jay there have been plenty of players saying no to the Chinese 2.

4.) 11 Feb 2016 12:50:26
I understand what your saying.

If they offered 50m then that wouldn't be turned down.
I'm assuming that any transfer would be during the summer
Maybe I was too hasty. he's 33 now I think

However I would think the future of Stones would also be part of the equation as to whether Jags leaves.

5.) 11 Feb 2016 16:21:33
I can't see him leaving tbh he dosent seem to be the kind of player to leave for money. But you ever know lately with the way money is controlling football.

6.) 11 Feb 2016 16:47:16
Cant see Jags leaving for China he is not the money grabbing type from what i've seen. Plus he's still got a chance of making the Euros squad which definitely would not happen if he went to China.

7.) 11 Feb 2016 20:59:59
Can't rule it out. He hasn't got many seasons left in his legs so might want a big payday ready for retirement, couldn't blame him either if he did. He's been loyal to us for a long time.

8.) 12 Feb 2016 02:12:55
Not a chance, Jags turned Arsenal down years ago, he will finish his career an Everton player and captain, will eat my hat if he doesnt.

9.) 12 Feb 2016 07:09:42
Basil do you want salt and pepper with that. The guys 33 so he may not have an option. Would think next season we would be looking to bring in a younger player or look to promote from within. Would hate to see him end up in a similar situation as Terry, where the club are basically just dumping him. Jags deserves better than that.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think "dumping" is the right word woburn, footballers have a short career thats just a fact of life, but during that time they are paid fantastic money and live a lifestyle all of us can only dream of, they earn more in a year than average men earn in a lifetime so i wouldn,t feel too sorry for them mate..

10.) 13 Feb 2016 02:36:55
Jagielka is contracted to Everton until June 2018. That summer, he'll turm 36. Until then, he can still do a good job for us and help our promising young defenders progress to becoming consistent performers worthy of first-team selection. Also, having done 10 years with us by then, he should be entitled to a testimonial, which would be a fitting tribute to a fine Everton career. Whether or not he's interested in carrying on playing or going into coaching or whatever once he turns 36 is surely up to him - he'll have surely earned the right to choose.

04 Feb 2016 11:34:37
Reports are americans are out but chinese group about to put pen to paper within hours.

Jayefc1878

1.) 04 Feb 2016 12:57:49
What reports? Got any links.

2.) 04 Feb 2016 13:07:13
Don't believe it sorry.

3.) 04 Feb 2016 13:28:35
Not saying I don't believe you Jay as it is a rumour site but that's your first ever post, give us a bit more mate, link, woman in the chippy etc.

4.) 04 Feb 2016 14:04:02
Ace and Murf think he's got it from the royal blue Mersey site they run a story yesterday about the Chinese company that have bought a 10% stake in city people with links to them are apparently interested in buying us and they or the Americans have had there people looking at goodison for some reason

I would love to get myself whipped up into frenzy but a find it hard to we've been let down to often so for now I will reserve my thoughts until I see something a bit more. Well bit more.

5.) 04 Feb 2016 15:54:10
Apparently he heard it in the betting shop, and can everyone give murff a clap for not putting a bet on as we won 👏👏.

The jinx is broken.

{Ed025's Note - well done to murf.. :)

6.) 04 Feb 2016 16:20:27
There's been recent journalistic publicity that China are itching to get into the PL and expand their football base (witness the recent high profile signings that have gone into Chinese football )
Chinese have recently invested heavily in Malawi and Espanol. even stating Barcelona is big enough for 2 Champions League Clubs!

There have been rumours for a while that the Chinese have been looking at us and I suspect that we would be high on their shopping list.

So potentially we have the Yanks and the Chinese.

My query is. and I may have asked this before. If Mr Kenwright is seriously ill, then who is it that is negotiating the Sale of EFC with these potential suitors?

{Ed025's Note - dont worry about that lance, the deal can still be done without bill actually being in the room mate..

7.) 04 Feb 2016 18:03:47
Sorry Malaga not Malawi. typo.

8.) 04 Feb 2016 20:06:01
Who is running the Club then Ed.

{Ed025's Note - earl, elstone, woods?..take your pick mate, but someone has to have hold of the reins while bill is incapacitated..

9.) 04 Feb 2016 21:19:07
That was my next question.

Woods? Has anyone ever heard him speak?

Earl? Are you kidding when did anyone last see anything of him?

{Ed025's Note - whether you like it or not lance these are the guys who are running our club mate..

10.) 04 Feb 2016 21:28:38
Scary!

{Ed025's Note - tell me about it mate..

11.) 05 Feb 2016 06:16:08
Forget the Chinese, Villa have beaten us to wee wun whan and how lung since.

As for the yanks the cia are still trying to locate the Arteta money, Maybe Bills settee hold the answer.

Idiots with nothing better to do.

22 Jun 2016 16:15:59
Just woundeing ed where do you get your 'inside' information?

Jayefc1878

{Ed002's Note - Twitter and a chap in the pub called Bernerd.}

1.) 22 Jun 2016 18:58:26
You should trust Bernerd Ed. He's ITK.

2.) 22 Jun 2016 20:19:53
And from ed25 but he don't like to brag about it.

22 May 2016 00:29:11
LVG to everton? Toughts?

Jayefc1878

1.) 22 May 2016 01:34:28
Don't you mean knightmares?

2.) 22 May 2016 05:18:57
He is retiring and even if not his football is boring.

3.) 22 May 2016 12:25:45
He would be a better choice than De Boer.

17 May 2016 21:19:44
Trust me everton need to sign lyon striker lacazette he is a top striker west ham just had 31 mill bid rejected this is a man everton need to replace lukaku i would say 50m is a good price for him.

Jayefc1878

{Ed002's Note - Everton has no interest in him.}

1.) 17 May 2016 22:46:58
Why is it as soon as a club bids for a player the old we should buy him shouts come out.

2.) 17 May 2016 22:50:32
Vincent looks a good striker from Az Alkmaar. I think we have been looking at him. i'm hoping if lukaku does go, then we aren't looking for a one out one in policy. a couple of good strikers is what we need. competition for places is a good thing. tbf lukaku knew he was the main man. Kone wasn't going to push him to one side.
