1.) 01 Sep 2022 20:09:13
Better than 40 mill for chukki.

2.) 01 Sep 2022 20:53:19
Give them £15m and maybe Rondon/ Gomes/ Mina on loan….

30 Aug 2022 10:44:23
Hi Ed's as my updates on Diaz please mate.

Dixie71

{Ed002's Note - Ben Brereton Diaz (S) Caught by the West Ham scattergun although the signing of Scamacca may have ended interest. Isak may have ended Newcastle interest. Aston Villa may make an offer and have spoken with his club. An option for Sevilla, Southampton and Everton. Brighton, Leeds and Nice keen. Nice have already made an offer but are not an attractive solution.}

Thanks for reply mate pardon the grammar.

26 Aug 2022 20:06:10
Maupay signed 3 years plus an optional year.

Dixie71

1.) 26 Aug 2022 20:27:58
Unfortunately too late to be included tomorrow.

2.) 26 Aug 2022 20:44:22
Ed keeps saying be patient. I think we are in a better place tonight than we were this morning. Alli gone and Maupay in. Patience is indeed a virtue.

3.) 26 Aug 2022 21:02:02
Let's hope for Gueye now. Maupay competition for Rondon.

4.) 26 Aug 2022 21:48:43
I would give Rondon competition and I am 60+ also a little over weight ?.

5.) 26 Aug 2022 22:36:50
Rondon must be rubbishting himself!
COYBB59!
PS think 59 might be out of date now / like Rondon!
????.

6.) 26 Aug 2022 22:50:17
Rondo and DCL similar

Mupauy and Diaz similar

2 different ways of playing - think we wilbrnd up with all 4 and good times ahead.

7.) 26 Aug 2022 23:14:53
Maupay is a pretty underwhelming signing but definitely an improvement on Rondon. Still banging my 3 in midfield drum though so if we persist with 5 at the back I'd play him up top with gray.

I still hope we make another signing up front and Maupay will be our bench striker.

8.) 27 Aug 2022 00:11:09
59 is right tho.

9.) 27 Aug 2022 08:36:14
In reality even in our prime (most of us) the modern game would pass us by. Rondon still scores for his Country. We also have to be realistic about incomings, none of say the top third of players will come to us, so we compete for up and coming youngsters, lower league (potential) etc! Maupay I think falls into the category of wanting to correct a wrong. Would like Diaz because he knows where the goal is. Gueye would still do a job for us with Doucoure and Onana providing the legs. Not going to happen today though, so another agonising Saturday to come.

According to ssn West Ham have had a offer accepted for Sam byram now up to player to decide.

Dixie71

{Ed025's Note - now theres a shock dixie..every player we go for west ham make a bid..

1.) 18 Jan 2016 18:49:57
Well that's him not signing on then.

2.) 18 Jan 2016 19:10:20
Merseyside sport RM said our enquiry going no further with Byram

3.) 18 Jan 2016 19:26:20
SB is a west ham fan; so he will be picking them over us.

4.) 18 Jan 2016 19:28:02
Disappointing: (. In a year or two he would have been class alongside garbut browning and Galloway.

17 Jan 2016 14:34:24
See qpr made an approach for Oviedo surely not a goer considering his injury problems better staying with us any views ed how much truth there is.

Dixie71

1.) 17 Jan 2016 15:16:48
He is a good player to have in squad he can play both Rb and Lb as well as rm and Lm. Can't believe we didn't go for Austin at 4m he was a steal at that. Do u know much about Hughes at Derby Ed he is mentioned as possible transfer in papers today?

{Ed002's Note - Austin would not have moved to Everton - so you can move on from that. 18 months ago Will Hughes attracted interest from several clubs including Liverpool, Arsenal, Southampton, Everton and Newcastle. However, Derby priced him at a level which made a transfer very expensive for any buying club. Liverpool signing Emre Can endedtheir interest and others moved on. If Everton's interest has returned I would fear disappointment if they are expecting a move this month. What happens in the summer, when it may be possible, might also be dependent on promotions.}

Probably reading too much into this but forest signed 18 players yet they had this kid garner on loan last season and didn't sign him.

Dixie71

{Ed014's Note - they were to busy buying 2nd rate shite! ?‍♂️

1.) 31 Aug 2022 22:06:32
He wasn't for sale earlier in the window so forrest already bought players.
Besides he's one for the future not the now.

2.) 31 Aug 2022 22:58:27
Smith, I think we need one for now not the future, Agree we do need to build but now is the priority to ensure we have a future. Then we can enjoy the luxury of building the future. My opinion only.
From what i have been hearing maybe he will not have to wate that long for his future to begin.

3.) 01 Sep 2022 06:56:18
I think he is one for the future who is good enough to provide squad depth and competition now.

Only concern is rumours of poor attitude but in fairness more rumours are bs anyway.

Hi ed just a quick one blue were is this takeover up to thanks.

Dixie71

{Ed002's Note - Measured how?}

14 Jan 2016 21:29:36
See Swansea are looking at Naismith think we are losing a real good squad player if he does leave want to wish him all the very best done s lot of good work outside of Goodison think rm is a idiot letting him go and keeping hold of his little pet kone.

Dixie71

{Ed025's Note - im with you dixie..

1.) 14 Jan 2016 21:34:23
I agree but if the lad wants game time and has to watch Kone get the nod I don't blame him! true pro and genuine nice guy! Best of luck Naisey!

2.) 14 Jan 2016 22:54:28
I agree he gives 100% and his commitment is second to none however the PL is changing every season and I feel imo he does not have the pace. I know this will upset some of my fellow blues but we are trying to build around a younger fitter team and sadly feel he should leave not only for the good of Everton but for his own career.

16 Aug 2015 12:03:29
Any body fancy chipping in for a banner across goodison next match seemed to do the trick great performance

Dixie71

1.) 16 Aug 2015 12:44:06
Agree m8, people are saying it no good for the club but for me, There is no such thing as bad publicity, Ken and co need to get a grip, we need players in not out, don't let us kid ourselves some will go.

30 Jul 2015 15:57:19

Think Carlo now knows were we need to strengthen and who we need rid of this may not be very popular but my opinion is a world class keeper is priority along with a centre back.
