Hello guys.
I was wondering what the criteria for England selection is.
Not that I'm saying he is good enough yet but surely just based on games played in the top league Dominic calvert-lewin should be getting a look in. He has played 28 times in the league mostly starts compared to Hudson-odoi havering played.

Hudson Odoi is a winger, not a striker, Calvert Lewin hasn't really got a good strike rate has he, works hard but isn't scoring too many.

But at least he is playing and Contributing. My point wasn't why Hudson odoi instead of him. But why don't they look at players who play regularly.

Really hope DCL does step up to the next level and gets to the England senior team, but you shouldn't get a England cap just by playing lots of games for your club.

I know I'm a little late on the transfer stuff but personally I would have let gueye go. We got nothing to fight for anyway. Not going to get Europe or a trophy or relegated. I would have sold him if he wanted to go he is 29 and he wants to win something in his career. I would have loved for them to say to Tom Davies here you go son this is your spot for four months. Impress us or we will get someone in summer.

Has anyone noticed that everytime pickford makes an error or miskicks he is always blaming someone else and swearing at them for his mistake. Most noticeably at lucas this is prior to the own goal. And his positioning is so poor that he makes himself look better than he is with all his camera saves which is what sticks in your mind. Rather than the Liverpool incident, and the one in the cup last year with his missed punch. I find it worrying he is our undisputed number 1 let alone the national teams.

But hasn't silva just made it more lopsided? We haven't really strengthened where we need it? i.e striker. I also don't understand where people get the idea from silva was a good manager in the pl he got relegated with hull and then had quarter of a good season at Watford?, all of a sudden we want him? If he was successful he wouldn't think twice about leaving us anyway.

I completely agree with you all. I don't rate pickford in the slightest. It's worrying for English football in general the lack of emphasis put on defending and goalkeeping. I miss the good old. Days.

At least with martinez and koeman they had a decent first season. And looked like might be going somewhere. More so martinez. Big Sam was just to get us out of a mess. A mess imo that we would have got out of with unsy anyway. We just spent a lot of money knowing we were sacking Sam at the end of the season regardless. I think should have kept unsy Sam was a knee jerk reaction because moshris advisors just went on past reputation of Sam will get us out of it he always does.
