Let's be sensible here now guys! Half the posts on here lately have been 'this is our year to go down', 'we're heading for the championship' etc. So if it has to be a sour pill to swallow and fat Sam Allardyce comes in and saves us! Then so be it! I'd rather have a guy come in and us lot not like him and save us than accept defeat and go to the championship. Let's look at the bigger picture here guys and be realistic. If he's what it takes to stop the rot and save our premier league status then sign the fat man up!
{Ed002's Note - I think the critical thing is expectations and managing them. Everton were never going to get in to the Champions League next season regardless of Moshiri. Moshiri is a businessman and not a football guy - his efforts should be on infrastructure and planning a managable way forward. Not on looking up coaches on Wikipedia and phoning round. When a club is in the position to restructure and get a boost up they need good advice. And remember the money coming in for PL clubs is very, very high. I explained much of this over the summer. I don't want to say it but I see this as a throw away year for Everton and the club just need to settle in to 12th and have a better plan going forward.}

Honestly, I just want us to play competitive football that is an entertaining 2 hour episode once or twice a week.
Mid-table results pushing to break into the top seven (like the Moyes era) must seeming like a delightful dream now.

I wholeheartedly agree with Ed02. Forget everything else this season such as breaking into the top 4 or 6 and cup runs and qualifying for Europe etc. Get solid, get safe and work on building a cohesive team for 2018/ 19. If Sam/ whoever can achieve that I'll be happy.

It comes to something when I look for an excuse so I don’t have to watch Everton. WTF is going on? People are constantly taking the piss out of us. The football is shambollic and so is the board! A new manager should have been in line after the sacking, just like a striker should have been in after Lukaku! Disgusting!

The worst thing about this situation Is, I keep thinking we can't get any worse, we can only get better. But In a matter of fact, we are getting worse. I luckily had to go to watch James Arthur perform last night and didn't get to watch the match. Boy oh boy didn't I have a shock when I came out! The board needs to sort somebody out as manager sharpish so a rocket can be fired up some of these players ars*s. It's embarrassing to see what this club is being turned in to. If Ashley Williams can see this, Please go back to Swansea!

I don't watch forest but I do watch Gillette soccer Saturday and I keep seeing k dowell name on the score sheet and there fans have nothing but nice things to say about him. was it a mistake to let him go. I think so or maybe good of him and better for us.

I watched them earlier. The first one is a bullet and the second is pure skill in the way he finished it. He also seems like a really shy man. His family were ecstatic after the match and he looked embarrassed lol.

Totally agree. His football is as bad as that thing he’d call a hair cut. Schneiderlin thinks he’s better than Everton! I feel pity for Pickford. He went mental after the last goal. There’s no passion or fight in front of him! We’re all frustrated and worried and then we’ve got the dealings of the papers not helping, linking us to every manager going. Please Kenwright and co, just sort somebody out sharpish. I’m embarrassed to be a toffee at the moment!

Have to agree to be honest. But that point in this moment in time is like 3 for us. He can only set out with what players he’s got. With the players named from the starting line up I can only say I’m ecstatic with a point. After he’s had a transfer window etc, I will have a different opinion!
