As a Liverpool fan you are overpaying for him (as we have for players) BUT if you get that potential out of him he’s surely going to be worth it. Plus if you do sell him on after a few good seasons you’ll be getting way more than the £50 million paid.

To be fair on paper or side is still stronger, that comment is void but as the game is it’s a dead one anyway nobody actually needs to win, even a loss would hurt too much for either side is suspect so why destroy themselves for what feels like a friendly. Last ten minutes your lads have don't alright.
