There is absolutely no evidence in Martinez Premiership CV that he can improve this Club but there is solid evidence that he can take us down. Everton do themselves no favours, lack of communication from a hopeless PR department only exasperates and frustrates a very loyal fan base, making some elements very angry indeed. Should the board decide to retain his (Services) they are doing themselves no favours, the atmosphere on Saturday win, draw or lose will be absolutely toxic.

I have been saying this since the Derby it spilled over at Wembley but at home to Bournemouth it will be toxic and I am dreading it. The only reason I am going is firstly to support the players 2nd like 1000's of others to make our feelings clear that Roberto should be removed.

Personal take on the Roberto Martinez situation is that Mr Kenwright's renowned loyalty to a fault will prevail and Roberto Martinez will still be our Manager next season. The man just talks so good a game that Chairmen are so taken in by it that they totally ignore his Premiership record. I can only hope that once it sinks into our Chairman's head it is not to late.

It's changed significantly now that we have a big investor!

BK hasn't just got a section of the fans , no he has a majority of the fans against Martrinez joined now by a substantial portion of the punditry corps. press, ex players perhaps current players I would say Bill is out voted on this very important and urgent decision!

Apparently its the quality of manager they want to bring that's being negotiated. Moshiri wants to bring in a big name, a statement, while "Top Bloo" Bill Kenwright wants to bring in a lesser name.

Show's you where he's at, ambition-wise.

If he is still there Saturday, I think silence and white hankies will tell the Board everything. Mind you he had the brass neck not to accept any responsibility for Wigans downfall and the dream world he lives in, he probably will come out afterwards and say the fans are behind him.

How has he done since is the thing, does anyone know. On Moyes, having originally said, I would have him back in a heartbeat, I have had a rethink, he went to two Clubs since us and got sacked twice. Man Utd I believe that given the same time that LVG has been given he (Moyes) would have the same results. As to Sociedad, I do not know to much about it but he did get sacked. So given that and you do not return to the same Club twice theory. Perhaps not.

Yep apologies for the bad taste comment to Mr LewisEFC, just a little upset (as we all are today) . Could still be a windup though eh! and that is just not funny, especially if Mr Phenomn stays.

BillsTreadIsMissing

{Ed025's Note - just a misunderstanding bill, emotions are running high today mate but we must all see it as a good day for the families as justice is being served..well it will be when those who are guilty are brought to account..

LewisEFC if that is a windup on today of all days mate then it is in very poor taste.

BillsTreadIsMissing

{Ed025's Note - i dont see that as in bad taste bill?...he,s just saying that it will not be announced today because of the events in warrington, if he has then that would seem logical to me mate..

Why would Big Dunc get the boot? Unless of course typically he has told it like it is and the poison dwarf has done what he normally does and that is lay the blame everywhere except himself. If Martinez does go and it is a big if, then he should not go with praise ringing in his ears, not quite ridicule but certainly silence. This is the man that just cannot or will not see the damage he does to Clubs.

Talk is of Hughes (but in the lazy papers so make of it what you will) , personally someone is just grasping at straws. Isn't Hughes of similar ilk to Moyes I.E. he will have us top 8 but that is it. Part of the problem in attracting a profile Manager is Mr Kenwright, Everton is his toy and he needs to let go of the reins for any real progress to be made.

Everton are a high profile Club in a high profile business, it is foolish if not naive to state that negative press from the press themselves, pundits, fans and others will not bother the board, that is a simple statement of fact. As to Martinez, some posts are bordering on the personal and that is just not right. Concentrate on the position he holds and for me whether he is a nice man or not is neither here nor there, for me he is a bad man-manager, an awful tactician but wonderful waffler, who will in my view, if allowed to remain make this Club go the way of Wigan.

{Ed002's Note - It is neither foolish nor naive.}

How about this for logical thinking then. I believe the Club are getting ready to announce that Mr Martinez is staying. My theory is based on the comments from Robles and Unsworth in particular, maybe these are the only two the Club could find to come out in support, I don't know but perhaps.

Wigan were relegated and we still paid them compensation to take Martinez. If we would pay that for this failure I am damned sure an ambitious Club would pay far more for a successful Coach/ Manager. The thing is other Clubs and their Chairmen see us as a soft touch. Hopefully all that will change now we have an actual Billionaire majority shareholder and soon to have total say.

BillsTreadIsMissing

{Ed002's Note - Rubbish. The compensation was for his contract.}

Yes he talks a load of rubbish but he did not claim Martinez signed Stones, he said Stones was signed in January 2013. That was before Martinez. There are quite a few ex-players that are only pundits and not coaches or Managers and that is because they may have been good players but they are crap at everything else, Murphy and Shearer fall into that category.
