Went to watch Derby play Burton tonight with some of my Derby mates. What a cracking game. Solid tackling action both ends and a referee and linesman running the game. No VAR, no lines being drawn and no delays to see if someone's nipple was offside ( it was cold) .
And afterwards all the talk in the pub was about the game, about football. Almost forgotten just how good it could be.

Was thinking the same mate. To old now but used to be involved at amateur/ semi pro level, at least I can get back to following it, get back to enjoying football and talking about football.
