Hi Ed’s I was just wondering what is Graham Sharps roll as a non executive board member. Does he have a vote on matters? Is he just an ex players voice at board meetings? Does he have any power at all? I saw the Sharp out banners and thought it was harsh if he hasn’t had a say in what’s gone on and was being used as a mouthpiece to enforce about headlockgate.

Graham Sharp was appointed as a non executive Director last January whilst Benitez was still manager. Primarily to advise the Board on footballing matters but also to improve relations with the supporters. In the last few weeks he has come out and blamed the supporters in part for the situation in which we currently find ourselves, so that's a double failure. As an executive Board member he does not have any power at all.
As for headlockgate, no video or proof has been shown so it obviously did not happen otherwise it would be all over the internet. Nor was the report attributed to any individual, just an anonymous story to discredit the fans protest.
