Moise Kean. where do you start?
I can't recall in recent times such anticipation of a new signing and the support and adoration shown to a young unproven player. the banners were unfolded and the chants were scripted and then we waited with baited breath for him to take the league by storm. still waiting!

He is now inevitably going to be remembered as a spectacular failure with a bad attitude and his recent "apparent" behaviour underlines that.

There are many footballers taking some undeserved criticism at the moment just because of their earnings without the general public fully understanding what they do "behind closed doors" for the local community and charities alike, however it is the behaviour of the likes of "one goal" Kean that allows this perception to persist.
This isn't just a one off Incident and you cannot mitigate his behaviour with his "age" and misunderstanding of "foreign culture".

I suspect that big Dunc had the measure of this kid long ago and may have been in his thinking at Old Trafford. I hope so!

Being late for training, having a beer before a game has been part and parcel of some of the best characters and performers we've seen. ignoring a world wide instruction and jeopardising people's health and subsequent lives is not.
The Ego and "reputation" is not wanted and the best thing for this scenario is for him to get back to Italy. pronto.

What a disappointment Moise, not just to me or evertonians across the world or the club itself but also for every "decent" footballer that has worked so hard throughout their careers to dispel the myth that all footballers are arrogant, flash, egotistical, non caring people. hang your head in shame as you climb aboard the next flight to Naples or whoever's else wants to take a chance on you. be sure to keep you distance and wash your hands whilst doing so though!

No one can argue with the sentiments in your post Brett.

All I would say though is I did a lot of stupid things way past the age of 20 and into my fifties. No so bad now in my sixties but my wife might disagree with that. I've been lucky not to seriously injure myself and others so I'm not able to condemn Kean totally

No one can condone what he did. All we can hope for, whether he stays with us or not, is that he takes better advice going forward and learns from it.

He has been disappointing and to ignore the lockdown rules when he’s in a highly prominent position as a footballer is a disgrace. But let’s not forget he threw the so called party however there were numerous other idiots who where there we shouldn’t forget that - he can’t be held responsible for the stupidity of others just his own stupidity.

I in no way condone what he has done, but to me the media reaction seems to be over the top which is generally the thing with Everton.

Jack Grealish - broke lockdown to go to a party, clearly drove whilst under the influence, crashed his car into other vehicles, left the scene, sobered up and returned - yet he doesn’t appear to be getting such a grilling. In fact a lot of Everton fans think he’d be a good signing for us! We’ve got enough numpties at the club do we need another one?

Footballers rightly or wrongly have this position were they are looked up to and as such should behave appropriately it’s unfortunate that they don’t necessarily have the mentality to live up to this position - kean, Grealish, Walker and Niasse all should know better.

It’ll be these antics along with billionaire owners furloughing staff that will remembered not the thousands and thousands of pounds donated, the hotel rooms offered to frontline staff, the good community work done by clubs to support the vulnerable.

Until you can train them to have some sense and decency we’ll always have the rotten few spoiling it for them all.

Unfortunatly just because a young man has lots of money and can play football to a high standard, people automatically assume they are clever and have common sense to know right from wrong. This has been a misconception of many players since the 1960s when players suddenly were paid well enough to be treated as stars along with musicians and film stars. Money + ability does not equal brains.

Just an idiot with lots off money, but it's hard to keep your feet on the ground at that age.
