There is talk of players out of contract in June approaching the fa to make it compulsory that their contract runs until the season ends.

Personally they have picked up a wage each week so cannot for the life of me see why clubs who want to release players should have to keep paying these players who have no future at the club, past their contract expiring.

Had they not been paid then fair enough, but they have been paid.

{Ed002's Note - It is not really like that.}

I know, don't think we are ever going to get rid of Niasse.

One of the PFA's top lawyers yesterday stated players whose contracts expire in June are under no obligation to remain at their clubs . If that's the case surely the clubs are under no obligation to keep unwanted players beyond June .

{Ed002's Note - It is up to the club and the player to decide whether or not to extend the contract on a month-by-month basis. Equally, there have been many transfers agreed already, and both clubs and the player will need to reach agreement in that case.}

Maybe it is time for Niasse to start emptying his locker, if he has one now and get a taxi pre booked for a June.
