I'm always a bit wary of making these best lists Cookie mate . I'm always worried I might forget someone. As for your list Timmy is definitely number 1 . I couldn't believe a top 4 club never came in for him . Imagine the goals he'd have scored in the Man U or Chelsea teams back then, and to think if Simon Jordan at Palace had paid his agent what he wanted we would never have signed him. I'd definitely have Coleman high on the list as well as Jags . Nigel Martyn and Gareth Barry too . Apart from that pretty much the same.

If Man U didn’t have Scholes and Chelsea hadn’t had Lampard in their teams over the time Cahill was scoring goals for us and shadow boxing corner flags they may well have come in for him
For me it’s thankfully they didn’t! 😉.

I agree about Pienaar but was aware that most were already from Same team and if Baines is in Pienaar unofficially is in with him like Morecambe and Wise. Best double act we have had in that time. Would have Martyn and Barry in 11-20.

Mirallas for me had his moments. I can recall a few games he had for us where he was immense. The derby a few years ago where he tore them a new 1 stands out. It unfortunately he had to go off at half time.
