Thanks GB, can't see him coming to us, I've followed Everton for 74 years since my father took me to my first game aged six and I have seen ups and downs but nothing as bad as the present situation. We are in total disarray as a club from top to bottom. The next month or two is going to be critical and I am not optimistic, either for us to get points, or for us appointing a manager who can motivate the squad to play to their potential.

{Ed002's Note - You have got it Mike but there needs to be a structure that can deliver a whole new paradigm to go with a whole new stadium that puts Everton back in the frame and the big picture. It takes a Brands and a commoitment - and perhaps four or five years in the abyss. If that were the plan day one, we would be well on the way, seeing benefits and seeing the end of the tunnel in 18 months or two years. We would beyond manager/coach friction - it would be about honing down the 21 year olds to get two or three through a season - the PSV/Ajax model. Not unlike what Chelsea have worker toward, or perhaps Benfica or Sporting. But that is not where Everton are - there is an owner taking advice, throwing money, and going nowhere realistically. There is not realistically a relegation issue but it is a constant battle without getting someone to refocus. The imbalance I have regularly mentioned remains - sort out the mass of LWs, sell, buy, draw a new baseline and work from there. A great comment BlueMike.}

I echo that bluemike much better put than I have tried for months to put. It may well be that it boils down to an inability/ reluctance to carry out a true root and branch change. Add into that -speculation- the advisor Mr Moshri uses. I take that we are probably not going to be relegated (more because there is a good chance 3 teams are worse than us) , so perhaps I for one should be more patient. It is so frustrating.

Very good posts and input from ed002 I to have supported Everton since the sixties and have seen good and bad times, and agree the turmoil at present has never been at this level. I think we have just thrown money at the issues without plan or purpose over the last few seasons and now have an unbalanced side with an abundance of players that are not only good enough but have devalued and are now difficult to move on.

Having said the above, seen a rumour that he is here for the five games. Surely that can't be true. What happens if we lose to Leicester and that other lot. God forbid we lose all five, how the heck does a new manager comeback from that.

The fact that Bill is still trying to lure Moyes says it all, until we rid the board of Bill-we will carry on being stagmented.

The whole point of bringing Brands in, is to structure the squad and Management, Bill should not be stepping on Brands toes.

He is making our club look like a 2 bit outfit, has done since taking the realms, letting our best players be sold, season after season.

We need a big broom sweeping through our club, starting with some at the top.

Mosh is being ill advised so until we have a clear out at the top, no matter who comes in will suffer the same fate.

We need to take a backward step before we can move forwards.

At this moment in time, our club is being run by the three stooges.

Bignev, come on mate I don't think many fans would say he has been making the club look like 'a two bit outfit' it's a bit of an ungrateful statement. The man never claimed he had unlimited cash to keep us ticking over but he did it anyway to get PJ out of the club. I'm sure he's remortgaged his house at least once just to keep us ticking over. Yes, players left during his ownership but the majority of them wanted out. Rooney, Lescott and Arteta to name a few. Name one that was forced out? I doubt you can.
It's your right to have a go if you think people are not doing what they should but at least base it around truth!

With the fan base Everton had, it was hardly a risk remortgaging his house, he has not spent one penny from his own pocket, all players coming in on the back of the sale of players and he has made a huge profit on his investment, he needs to let the club go.

He even lied about the money being ringfenced and did everything he could to stop others putting money in the club so that he could have it for himself and his mates.

Even Lord Grantchester tried to help Everton out years ago, but Bill turned it down instead choosing to hang on to the club and run it on a sell before you buy.

Bill has done well out of Everton Football Club,

If anyone deserves credit, it’s Moyes with finding the players from lower league clubs to buy from the money we made selling our best players, Rooney was let go too cheap, Lukaku, Stones, Barkley, Arteta, not one ounce of fight from our board to say no your under contract here.

Even now he is trying to bring Moyes back, what is the point of Brands if Bill is still pulling the strings.

As long as Bill has a say in our matters, we will carry on in decline.
