Think we should have a poll as to what would be an acceptable position to finish this season now it's Silva second season and with all the new signing and the direction the club wants to go. Maybe. A. Top 4 B. Top 7 C Top 10 D any position with a trophy . something like that?

Top ten will be ok, do not expect anymore.

I'm hoping for better than top 10, meaning that could mean 10th.
Personally I think 6th is realistic, 8th last year with a terrible mid season, we should be looking on improving on last year mate.

6th will be difficult but 7th is possible. Best of the rest with Wolves having Europa and second season syndrome. Leicester losing a solid centre back and West Ham fans watching their team from almost a mile away yet still in the stadium. COYB.

They all sound about right. But never got my poll.

Personally with the money that’s been spent, then an improvement on last season position should be expected.
To break into the top 4 at this stage is a very big ask, and would mean either Chelsea or Spurs faltering. Who knows.
I would say 5th or 6th is a realistic target with European qualification at the end of it.

Perhaps also success in a cup competition is long overdue and satisfy those fans who may be a bit more impatient than others for success. It is after all a very long journey to get top 4 and could be expensive also. Remember a new ground to pay for as well.

Aim big, league Champions with our neighbours finishing outside the top two.

Realistically though I would say around 5th or 6 th, but still think our neighbours will finish outside the top two.

I agree with Keen. We have to finish above 7th and no excuses. Brands has done has in my opinion carried out so far his remit (brilliantly) and given Silva the tools.
