There's a few people on here that seem to think that we should be promoting from the U23's. I'm all for bringing through younger players, in all honesty I have only seen one of their games this season. So, my question is who is really ready for the first team?
One game isn't sufficient to give an opinion but the only one for me after watching them in the game that they sealed their title, only Bowler made me sit up and watch. The fact that he played on the right is a bonus.
The reserve league needs a shake up, the standard isn't too good compared to years gone by. In my opinion, the age restrictions should be relaxed, it should be a combination of young players trying to break through to the 1st team and senior players regaining fitness or also trying to break through to the 1st team. Thoughts?

I agree that the reserve league needs more strength but it is ossible to bring plaers through and do well look at Liverpool and Spurs. If it can be done by them they why not by us.
We cannot be successful just buying players as we do not have enough money.

Your maths is not very good DC we have brought through more than Liverpool in the last 5 years.
