Gomez getting stick for his red card in a few posts is understandable. But should we really be questioning whether we should buy him. He's absolute quality. He has that continental ability that seems to elude home grown players where he glides along the pitch. He picks passes that are difficult when a player has time and he does it under pressure. He's so strong and has got a strike in his locker too. Buy him in the summer at all costs.

If Barcelona are after Richalison there could be an interesting Gomes and Malcolm negotiation to be had.

Aghhh, we can’t lose Richarlison yet bignev, surely. He’s only just got here. Keep him for at least another season, possibly 2 and then let’s see. There’ll be a summer budget, plus a few sales. So it’ll hopefully be that we can make Gomez a perm and then a striker to run into DCL knock downs.

Gomez is good but not that could, happy for him to stay but if not I am sure we can replace him. He flatters like Dobson did years ago looks better than he is.

I think he is that good DC. Who’d you have that’s better, and would come to us?

I’d say Gomez is a rare opportunity for us as he would not be out of place in a side looking to qualify for the champions league and as these players are so hard to get I say we fight tooth and nail for a permanent deal.
