Don't get it 2-0 up and Marco brings Milna on and then Theo for Rich, doesn't make sense, i don't think he will get much more time to sort this out, but who would you bring in.

{Ed025's Note - we were playing well up until they scored as well, pickford was awful whether he saved a pen or not..

Pickford is like across between David ‘calamity’ James Joe ‘im the greatest ever’Hart. Maybe he’ll come good in a few years but now he’s a liability. The sooner this season is over the better. Another season of hope and optimism gone before it even started fs.

{Ed025's Note - pickford was a joke joe..

Pickford has cost us the game today.
Should have been an easy 2-0 win.

There's just no leadership in the Team Ed.

{Ed025's Note - maybe not GB but these are professional sportsmen mate..

He won't be going though. This has been one of the worse appointments as Manager we have made and I believe he was promised the job, even when we had Alardyce in charge. In my opinion there are still big changes needing to be made to those around Mr Moshri, I honestly do not know who it is that has Mr Moshri's ear but they need to man up and admit to him that on Silva they were wrong. It is so frustrating because all the evidence is there, his 3rd Club in the Premiership and exactly the same pattern of failure.

Is the penny dropping Guernsey? The only real dark cloud at Everton is Silva.

{Ed025's Note - i thik the dark cloud today had a bright yellow jersey on mate..

Love it Ed mate lol, we just have no Leadership in the Team.

A yellow jersey and a big red nose! Unbelievable result. I would drop Pickford for the rest of the season. He has cost us 12 point or more this season. I don't blame Silva for this defeat.

Having no leaders is a big problem, we really need a couple of real captains on the field.

{Ed025's Note - thats been a problem for a long time DC, even before silva..

I really don't know what the answer is dc mate, but this can't go on and I am sure Mr Moshiri will be having a word, changing managers every 5 mins are not the answer either, but do we stick or twist with Marco he has only had one real window but I have to admit I am starting to loose patience after watching that this afternoon, i know being an Everton fan is not easy I have been one since the 60s, if he doesn't get it right quick he will walking the plank, thank goodness for Formula 1 next weekend something to look forward to cheers.

If we drop Pickford, I would put the young Portuguese kid in before stek.

The game was lost by individual errors so blaming the manager isn't really the answer.
I'm sure the ones who don't want Silva will use the result to have another go at him but putting the loss down to Silva is just naive.
Before the goals we looked back to how we were before Xmas.

{Ed025's Note - i agree smit..

12.) 09 Mar 2019
09 Mar 2019 19:28:44
Why is it naive, he is the head coach is he not, he is the one that sets the tactics, he is the one that makes the substitutions. We are 11th now, safe from relegation but lacking in confidence and belief. There is no evidence (at this level and in this Division) that he is good enough.

It’s easy to blame the Manger but how can he be responsible if individuals makes errors that has cost us, just let’s get this season over, he knows what he has got and what needs to be improved, impossible at this moment, it’s going to an interesting summer window at least we got something to look forward too, with a lot of out goings and higher quality coming in.

Did you watch the game DFS because that was a team full of confidence and energy.
Your blatant dislike of Silva clouds your view of anything in the game.
And before you disagree go back through your posts and show me the posts commending the team when they have played well this season. None.
There isn't any. Zip. You call yourself a fan. Prove it. Show me a post supporting the team, if not the manager because I can't see one.

You aren't interested in championing the team when they do well, you just want to prove your point about Silva.
If Silva goes will you support the team again?
Probably not if the next man isn't to your liking.

Keep commenting your bile towards the manager but at least put something positive on about your team.

To be fair Smitt I have given Silva the backing and belief, but he certainly has to take some of the plaudits and blame as well, that was the best starting 11 and we played well, taking Richarlison off when we had them on the back foot changed the game bringing a defender on, And then Walcott coming on.

If he wanted to shut shop at 2 nil, then at least bring Davies on, those two subs were poor, Pickford had a stinker, made a big mistake letting Robles go, should have let Stek go and kept Robles.

As many have mentioned, no leadership on the pitch I would add, none off the pitch either and nobody holding their hands up (unfortunately a modern trend to blame someone else) . No matter these players (after 30 games in ) are not Silvas', get them playing as a Team and for each other (Royals' Dogs) and give them leadership on and off the pitch and we are 90 percent there.

{Ed025's Note - that takes time though mate, which is something a lot are not prepared to afford silva..

It will never happen, Smit, there's a few on here that just want to have a go when things aren't going well but will go missing when the team has a good day. A certain poster hides behind the words spoken by ed002 with regards to Moshiri taking bad advice. Uses the same excuse time after time! I'm not saying ed002 is wrong on that but I'm sick of hearing it from a poster who isn't privy to such info.

Here is the truth, Dark Clouds and DFS, you now have your wish. Silva is effectively auditioning for his job with 8 games to go. Tell me this, if you get your wish and he is sacked, who do you want to take over? The way
I see it from your constant, negative drivel, it doesn't matter who takes control, both of you will still be moaning and groaning.

DFS and DC have their own agendas I feel bluepotato. Apart from being chief execs of the 'I told you so brigade' they have never liked Silva, Moshiri and Kenwright. You only need to read their historic posts to see that.
They only use this site to air their bile against the above and are nowhere to be seen when we are doing well.
That said though it is their prerogative to support the team however they want and air their bile whenever.
Personally I, like most on here like to comment and post with fellow Evertonians regardless of results. Unfortunately not everyone is like that but again it is horses for courses.
