Reading all the posts below on who would be a good choice for us if we did change our manager again at Everton, at the end of the day there will be no one manager who everyone on here would be happy with, not all wanted Marco or Koeman and I won't even mention the other one let alone Martinez or Moyes, so as a young manager Ole at Man U is doing a great job so why not Arteta with Tim backing him to take over.

Don't believe the majority wanted Silva, believe the majority wanted Koeman. I was wrong on Koeman but based my call on him okay at Southampton. There really is no logical reason why Silva was selected or why he was pursued. To answer GB though, Benitez, Hughton because of Premiership experience, I like Howe but don't think he would move north of Watford.

Ole will have the old man behind him mate. What we need is a proven winner, not old boys who the fans love but the players don't respect.

Change the manger, change the date, change some players. One common denominator. Same problems. Now we are two years and two managers on, do you think that perhaps we were a bit rash in sacking Koeman? I blame the board for not replacing Lukaku not RK.

Nick, same process we could say the same about Martinez but we only finished 11th. With Koeman we were dropping and didn't look recoverable. I maintain with our current it is a different siuation, for all the reasons previously given. Pleased that some of you are perhaps seeing what has been obvious. Still if we all thought the same we would be a short lived species.

I still back Silva but results speak and if things don’t change very soon I would say Moyes to stabilise. If he can take us further I don’t know. Benitez maybe could take us to the next level. Howe has done fantastic but feel it will be risky and not sure if we can be risky with the next appointment.

Moyes was never a traitor, ok handled it badly but he gave us ten good years of mostly over achievement.
You could not blame him for going as you could not blame Rooney years before, or Arteta etc. Top players and managers have ambition and due to lack of finance we we could not fullfill this at the time.
