I would like to see us playing Bernard as a false 9. Richarlison on the left and Lookman on the left. Gomes and Sigurdson MC with Gueye CDM. Coleman, Keane, Mina and Digne as back four.
I think this would benefit the wide men and get Bernard on the ball in more dangerous areas and give him the freedom too.

Except Bernard won't score enough goals and Lookman can't defend. I'd like to see if either Bernard or Richarlison could play right side well enough while someone teaches Lookman how to defend.

Singin the Blues, what we need is a RW and RB or Kenny as RB with Coleman reverting to backup. Putting Lookman at RW is just putting square pegs in round holes. In short what we need is two quality players for every position. Last window we addressed the CB, LB and LW positions, this window, although highly unlikely and improbable, seeing as how we A, have already spent a huge amount, B. Anyone of quality is, going to cost a fortune, January is notorious for that. C. We have to face the fact, that unless there is a hidden bargain out there (and there are 19 other Prem Clubs also looking) we just have to go with what we have. We are not going to improve upon last season, not unless we have a storming second half to 2018/ 19. Summer window will be the one where RW, RB, Striker and perhaps GK is addressed.

Ktf what position do you see Lookman then?
If we play a false 9 the two wingers would be more advanced pushing the opposition fullbacks back, therefore not a need to have the responsibility of defending.
Bernard being in a roaming role would score more goals and be more of a threat as being out on the left hi seems isolated and wanting to check back onto his right foot.
I do agree maybe Kenny should be given his opportunity now. Still not ruling out Coleman yet.
