Not including I good run in the FA Cup (I hope) , then this season is already a bit of a right off. Therefore would this not be the perfect opportunity for Silva to give some of the younger players a run, or purchase the players he needs. Clear out those who are not part of his plans, and use the rest of this season to bed in a team for the future.
Let's face it we won't get relegated, and don't look like making top six.

Leagues position is as important as ever with there being over a million quid difference between each one. I understand what you are suggesting but prob a bit early still.

Silva did that in the Carling cup against Southampton, I would prefer Everton to stick to his closest starting 11 as possible and that means in the f a cup as well.

Stop all the chopping and changing, try to turn out the same 11 if possible, we are only playing one game a week.

Time to build a team and stick to a regular starting 11.

Errr think that was what I was getting at?

We started off well because we had players in all their normal positions. Ricky had a good game for Brazil we needed a replacement striker, so off the wing he came. Not an easy task at this time of year but hopefully a couple out and an already identified striker to come in and these last few games will count as our slump for the season. League position 6 was always going to be a hard task, but hopefully 7 is how we finish (or higher of course) .

{Ed0333's Note - I’d be excited on your trejectarory...you’ve got a canny little manager in Silva who has surpassed my expectations and he is quietly amassing talent and I’m pretty sure after a couple of transfer windows you guys will be able to hold your own in the top 6.

ED0333 is right. The quality of players we are signing and the age of them is exceptional. We are so better balanced than last season in many positions and with cover as well. Tactically he is still learning about our players and to have thrown 5/ 6 new players in the forst team and expect them to gel is really quite remarkable. Often a team takes 12 - 18 months to gel. He has like Ed says exceeded my expectations.

Your not really getting what I am saying. So I won't bother trying to explain.
