What I find interesting is the fanbase not asking any questions about the decisions Silva is making. When he arrived there was a lot of moaning about who we were signing and the teams he was starting with and positional decisions and zonal marking etc. Richarlison has proven to be quality. Bernard has shown his ability. Gomez has shown his class. Mina has shown that with extra height, zonal marking may just work. Yes it is interesting how his decisions are not being queried now. Long may it continue. it means we are improving!

Negatives are gone degsy mate, long may last, so much rubbish was being spouted, like we all said Siva needs time.

I was one of the negatives but Silva is winning me over and have ate a bit of humble pie lately and don't mind . but let's not forget that RM and RK had a good first season so I'm trying to just take things as they come at the moment there is a long way to go and nothing surprises me in football especially supporting the blues.

Totally agree - the real test will be next year for Silva as it looks like on current form we will finish between 6-10 this year - looking forward to a long, long cup run.

Forget the results. just compare the ages and quality of players we have signed. Also how he addressed all the negatives I was spouting on about last season and the previous one. No left sided players, players too old, players too young, players clearly not good enough. all those issues have or are being addressed. Gomez is like Gareth Barry but with legs. Bernard reminds me of David Silva, Digne has just replaced Baines. think of that statement! Zouma has slotted in. Mina helped give us our 1st clean sheet in weeks. His height is for zonal marking. Richarlison. still a kid! What will he be like when he is 25 if he has not been kicked out of football.

I think Digne's been our best signing under the new regime without getting much credit. Taking over from Baines was a massive ask given he's been one of the best left backs in the PL for nearly a decade, but the lad has slipped straight in and been consistent both at the back and going forward. Richarlison and Sig have also been quality, but took time to get going. Digne has filled massive boots and done it from day one, for less than £20m.

I agree Windsor, so far Digne has been an outstanding signing and deserves more recognition for his consistency. His performance on Sunday was best I’ve seen against Willian (anytime I’ve watched Chelsea) .
Although I don’t think we’ve seen the best of Gomes or Richarlison yet.

Please help I work with a deluded Liverpoolian (who in August said they'd win the league but decided now it could be next year! ) and an Arsenal supporter (I know I should be paid more for working with these 2) they think Jordan Pickford is now worth 31 million and wait for it richarlison is worth 40 million what do people think of their impartial unbiased valuations?

Well You have won the Richarlison one if he thinks he is worth 40 Million, so whether it’s 40 Million or double that, you’ve done well to get a Red to backtrack and admit the 40 Million plus add ons we spent was justified, enjoy the moment and prey he knocks one in the Derby.

What does it matter how much both are worth, they are both Everton players, and here for the long term, that you cannot put a price on.
