With regards to the board usmanov coming in would be amazing our financial power would change over night!

But just something a little closer to home I have to say our new CEO has properly got her head screwed on,

although we have worked within restricted budgets over the pas 3+ decades and to a degree the board have had to make us stable in an ever changing markets we have made some strange decisions along the way our ex CEO being one of them, he wasn’t commercially aware and was unable to plan ahead this held us back massively I believe certainly over the last 10 years,

Step forward Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale, she has a plan and is implementing it, all the way through the club,

It all takes time but she along with Farhad laying some very good foundations.

There is an interview from her in the telegraph over the weekend a very good read that certainly show the mistakes of the last three years will not be repeated!

Just thought I would give the board a shout out as they do get a fair bit of stick somethimes

(don’t get me wrong there have been some very suspect goings on behind the scenes pre Farhad which we will never get to the bottom of but that’s in the past)

{Ed002's Note - Financial power to do what?}

Build a stadium
Upgrade training facilities
Buy better players
Increase global sales

End of the day money talks and if you have it life becomes a little easier,

Man City basically became what they are by offering unbelievable wages and getting players to buy into what they’ve we’re trying to do as did Chelsea,

Tottenham are spending zero, arsenal potentially will go backwards before going forwards, Man U still aren’t the team they were and from what I here have fairly large problems in the dressing room, Liverpool are spending big trying to catch Man City who arguably are the only team that at this moment can sustain what they are doing,

Every empire has to start somewhere Ed and this may be ours!

Onwards and upwards blues.

{Ed002's Note - So you think the club is a charity and you expect this person to gift a stadium and training facilities? I have no idea of what "increased global sales" you are referring to, and although some idiot came buy saying Liverpool are exemptfrom some parts of FFP it was BS, the owners cannot invest anymore in players that the FFP rules allow - the club has to spend the money it earns.}

For increased Global Sales, I suspect the poster meant to Market the Club more globally and attempt to increase income over expenditure, (I. E. spend what you earn) .

{Ed002's Note - How? Why?}

I believe he would be as interested in developing the land around the proposed stadium, hotels casinos, housing etc. As much as developing the club.

There are ways around it especially for the super rich, Man City have a 400m stadium naming rights from a company the owners own so that’s one way round it Usmanovs companies could do that and make it a stupid amount which enables you to spend what you want within your budget people get too bogged down with FFP, you honestly tell me Man City are spending only income that club generates from within the club ie players sold prem and champions league, no way it’s there sponsors that allow them to spend.

{Ed002's Note - I guess you simply don't get it. Tell us all about these ways around FFP. The stadium came from the City of Manchester - not the owners. Liverpool are leasing land and teamed with the local council. You don't understand sponsorship notr club income at all - and yet again we are heading down the road of ill-informed posts regarding finances from Everton fans. It is really embarrassing again - please drop the finances until Everton have plotted their approach to exploiting all of the FFP and financial loop holes.}

Well Ed, having read the Premiership FFP (I have mentioned it being as clear as mud and the field-day a competent Commercial/ Sports lawyer would have with them) , I took from them that you could perhaps meet the Leagues allowed loss and expenditure percentages limits by increasing your income. One way of doing that is surely to Market your Club/ Business to a wider audience. Man Utd et al have successfully done that for a number of years, admittedly we are starting from a 'little' further down the ladder.

{Ed002's Note - Sorry, they are clear and the clubs understand. I have no interest whatsoever in discussing FFP on the Everton page at all - it is full of supporters who will simply never understand. It causes nothing but trouble - you remember a year ago and Moshiri will be spending £200M net per window on transfers.}

One thing you are missing guys is that both MC and Chelsea had their investment prior to FFP being introduced so were able to build their brand without the constraints of FFP we cant. Any investments would need to follow the FFP rules now implemented so I imagine it will take some time to get us to a place where we can compete with the bigger earners. However I can see this management team taking the club forward within a shorter timescale than the previous team.

You say Everton supporters don't understand FFP . Are other clubs supporters more knowledgeable?

{Ed002's Note - Some are some suffer the same inability to understand FFP and indeed reality.}
