So the centre back nightmare is no closer to being sorted despite reports this morning. Nothing agreed with Barcelona or Mina apparently. Reality is anyone signed now will not be starting on Saturday so expect a high scoring game.

I would not be surprised if Mina does not sign to be honest. I just hope there are other deals in the pipeline that we don't know about.

I know it’s not straight forward but plenty others teams seem to get it done a lot quicker! Or are we more thorough?

{Ed025's Note - im not saying we are blameless on this front griff, but obtaining work permits and appeasing blood sucking agents is difficult and takes time mate, also when clubs are reluctant to let go they can make it very hard indeed..

Griff it only seems to take longer than other clubs because we are constantly looking for news of Everton transfers. What we don't see are the rumours about west ham, man u buying someone until the deal is almost done.
We are all in the same boat mate.
Man u will be thinking how they haven't signed Alderweirald yet after being linked since last summer.
Sometimes we drag out feet but so do the other teams.

The guy is holding out for the best deal with the best club he can find. Who can blame him? Our problem is we should have sorted this at least last season. well you all knew I would say that anyway. but it matters not if he signed a week ago or tomorrow. we all know we need at least 2 Center Halves. let's wait 2 more days and see what happens.

Flipping heck Ed025. I was saying this for the last couple of years. so its not really hindsight. Hindsight is when you say something after it has happened. call me Sir Degsy of getting on everyones nerves by going on about something. and then it happens! Please. how insulting!

I was laughing when I typed Ed. No worries. Sometimes my posts appear to be stressed or even a bit conflicting when in fact I am laughing or quite chilled about things. No offence taken.
