Usmanov story not going away. If true then massive changes are afoot and this brilliant Everton Club looks set to return to the apex of English football, bringing the glory days this Club deserves.

Usmanov coming in would be a step in the right direction but it doesn’t guarantee we’ll “return to the apex of English football”. There are still massive changes that need to happen at this club from the top down, and it will take a while for this to be done effectively.

I agree, Bitterblue, him coming in, if reports are actually true, wouldn't mean instant success. It would, however, mean we can be competitive with the top tier of premier clubs which, in turn, should see us really attack the teams that currently dominate the top four places. What's better than having one billionaire running the club? Two billionaires!
Joking aside, we shouldn't get too fixated on th AU rumours until there is some substance to them.

In the first instance it would remove any doubts around the BMD Stadium deal. We'd be more competitive commercially all it would need would be for the footballing side to catch up.
