Really hope we have a good clearout of "players" now. Get rid of all that negativity that's been around the club. And sorry but Rooney has to go, far to slow now for this level. Need pace in the midfield with at least two attacking players in there.
Would like to see a four, four, two formation, and would have Gana as the holding midfielder. Oh and Lookman has to be brought back, kids going to be massive talent.

442 far too old school in order to play fast pressing game like top teams to defend from the front you need to have either 3 or 4 players up front to close down opposition.

why is everybody so desperate to stick it to Rooney? Yes he's not the superstar he once was, and if he stays then it's best that he's an impact sub. But he showed such passion last season, got a decent amount of goals including the stunner against West Ham, and let's be honest, without his contribution we very well could have been in a squeaky bum situation at the end of the season.
I do think he should move to USA yes, but please give him a little respect.

It's not having a lack of respect, its reality. He is to slow and his best days are behind him sadly.

He was a our best player in the stats. But that's hardly a bench mark that's fair to him or us as fans or the club.

But he is doing exactly what he did at Utd for 3 years. Mostly getting in the way and giving the opposition as many goals -shots as he makes the other end.

He's a game thrower waiting to happen. It's not that he's slow (He is, I actually never credited him with any pace) but he sort of intimidates the younger players and I think it's just an emotional decision that clouds lots of fans.

He isn't good enough. I'd like him to stay as a coach or something but he wants to play still. Let him go I say. Especially if we can make a few quid too.
