People think we should be aiming higher than Silva. Unfortunately most of those higher managers will be aiming higher than us. We have a choice of getting someone in early and giving him time to plan for next season, or wait until after the World Cup and see which of these so called higher managers are still available. If The board believe Silva is the right man then go for option one. If not take a big gamble and wait, although that would only get the fans moaning about not doing anything as happened while we were waiting for Koeman.

When allardyce is gone the next manager needs 3yrs. regardless of how good or bad first season is. I for one will keep my lips sealed for the next man. never wanted allardyce near the club. he's has to go.
