Just watched the press conference and it seems that he's staying. FM/ BK have let down the fans badly.

I've only seen the transcripts from the Echo rather than actually seeing and hearing the conference. Personally I'd like to hear from Farhad or Bill before making any decision on what is actually happening. Steve Walsh was also in London and nothing was said about him and his position is totally unclear with the news that Brands had accepted a job with us.
Hopefully Farhad had given Sam clarity that he is leaving at the end of the season but that he wants him to continue with planning pre-season for now and maybe Walsh was told the targets Brands wants us to target until he gets there.
Worried that all the above is wishfull thinking at my end but it really needs Farhad or Bill to confirm what the hell is going on. Never felt so down.

If our fans don’t want SA, then do that have the cajones to stage a mass walkout during the televised home match against Southampton? That would show FM/ BK - and the viewing public - what the feelings are, but apathy is rife at Goodison Park so it won’t happen. :- (.

the board got rid of Martinez before the last game against Norwich, I think they knew how much anger there would of been shown.

I'm just grasping at straws when I said about arranging pre-season but I do think we should wait until there is an announcement one way or the other from Farhad and Bill. There could be timings issues with Brands or a new manager and their current clubs. No announcement on Walsh is an encouraging indicator that there difficulties in the announcing.
It's not helping the club's fans this lack of clarity - even if Sam says he has it now.
I'm numb at the moment. I can't believe that once again we seem to be in a state of limbo and the board says nothing. We are the peoples club but it doesn't seem it right now.

Just watched Sam's comments and feel a bit more relaxed after actually seeing it. Clarity can mean anything, including he's on his way. His comments on players in and out was insightful as I got the impression he knows nothing about any targets which is a good sign.

How about a backs to the pitch and minutes silence as a way of showing the board we won't put up with this anymore.
