so this is for the remaining Sam defenders here are some damming facts
since Sam came in
ranked
shots 183 19
shots on target 61. 19
chances created 129. 19
dribbles 299 19
passes 7910. 12
possession. 43.7% 13

now I would like anybody to still try and defend that gravy guzzler we have in charge those stats are damming.

Says it all Bluey
Add that to the fact that our player of the season is our goalkeeper with the post being runner up.
Show me a top 6 side anywhere in Europe that doesn't play attractive football. It's total bull poop to think we can get there with Big Sam and his brand of negativity and total lack of focus on anything else but himself.

{Ed001's Note - Atletico Madrid? Are they that attractive or positive?}

but ED01 at the minute we have some aspects of the media saying we should be happy with Sam as he saved us and 7-8th is the best we can ever hope for they seem to believe that Sam is doing a great job when in reality he isn't I pay a lot of money for my season ticket and I'm hoping to add my 8 year old daughter on this year but the problem how can I make her sit through match after match of the dross we are being served up.
The attacking side of play I understand we are not city or your lot but we have been outplayed by every team we have faced except Newcastle who for some reason tried to use our own tactics against us and boy that was painfull to watch those stats show just how bad we are as an attacking in it under Sam and as he loves his stats I would love a journo to bring them up at a press conference but it seems they are either too scared to ask the tough questions or are warned before hand.

{Ed001's Note - oh don't worry I think Sam is completely wrong for you. It is not about having the best manager available, it is about having the best manager to fit your club. That is why some managers succeed brilliantly at one club then fail miserably in their next job. Allardyce needs a little club who are just happy to avoid relegation, so he can be a saviour and satisfy his overweening arrogance. Everton are too big for him, a bit like Roy Hodgson at Liverpool. Nothing wrong with them as managers in the right place, but they don't fit our teams.}

Hi Ed
Not watched a lot of Atletico this year but any squad with Griezmann, Costa and Gameiro etc in must have some attacking intentions. They do have a reputation, whether that is current or not, of being defensive when playing the likes of Barcelona or Real Madrid but that is backed up by workrate and commitment throughout the team. Mourhino has had the same criticism against some of the top sides this year but both of them have great attacks when they need them.
Us, we park the bus not only against the top sides home and away but against West Brom, Swansea, anybody really away from home and if we get one shot on target god help the person who misses it because they've changed the outcome of the whole game in Sam's eyes.

I know ED01 the problem is it's not just about his tactics it's the whole if we win it's down to him and down to the players if we lose he was can't help but have sly digs over the criticism he is receiving by saying things after the Newcastle game like so what was wrong with that Jesus he must watch different games to everyone else.
I would love to know what's going on at boardroom level as I'm sure they must be unhappy as well.

{Ed001's Note - he actually called it excellent! I was so bored I forgot it was on and just sat editing without looking at the football. I normally ignore the editing during matches and just edit at half time and after the game. I swear he is being deliberately obtuse now. It is like he gets some kind of perverse satisfaction out of deliberately winding up fans. He did it at West Ham. Then he comes out with nonsense about his time at Bolton and his bum chums in the media back him up and talk nonsense about how exciting the team was to watch. Utter lies, they were dire but Jay-Jay Okocha would do the odd thing to liven up the game. That was it. It was not entertaining, it was waiting for Okocha to do something to provide a nugget of entertainment. The sooner the dinosaurs like him and Pulis are out of football for good the better the sport will be.}

I couldn't agree more ED01 jim white Thierry Henry Chris Sutton ECT ECT all believe that he is a great manager thankfully only 1 more game to go and I'm taking my little girl because she been very naughty and surely watching us for 90 mins is worse than grounding her until she is 35 ha ha it's a massive summer at goodison prob the biggest we have ever had it will show if as a club we are capable of trying to catch the top 6 and it starts with getting the management position filled correctly and after the last two appointments Moshiri might need outside help to make the correct call.

{Ed001's Note - that's harsh! You will scar her for life. That is worse than any of the beltings I got as a kid. Just be careful you don't put her off football for life watching that. Though if you are having difficulties getting her to sleep, at least it could cure that issue...}

ha ha shes already scared from the minute she was conceived I had Everton songs playing to her while in her mother's belly and it's got worse from the day she was born in forever taking her past goodison and playing Everton songs at her ha ha plus I'm very lucky that I have a very good friend who is a groundsman so at any opportunity I take her down to see him and she runs amok around the pitch and in the dressing room poor kid had no chance I have already booked her into seeing a shrink ha ha.

{Ed001's Note - you probably shouldn't be saying this publicly, someone will already be on the phone to social services to report you for child cruelty!}

ha ha no doubt ED01.

{Ed001's Note - you should have taken a leaf out of Ed025's book. He has been such a great parent to his boys they have grown up reds.... ;-)
