After watching last night's game I do feel sorry for the fans that pay money to go and watch that type of football week in and week out due to work I can't get to many games but last night proved again that we can't go on the way we are. Sam as always took the praise for the win but criticized the players for the sloppy passes. I think like most fans I would have liked to see a change in the squad there's no creativity on the bench, Tom came on and lost the ball every time he touched it and DCL didn't get on the ball much. Bolasie for me worse player on the pitch just don't know what he gives us.
Moving forward we will have to wait till the end of the season and just hope that the powers that be make the right decisions, again we are not not going to please all our supporters ( unless Sam goes ) , fingers crossed they saw enough of last night to know we need changes as for the fans I don't think I've seen Goodison so quiet which I think tells a bigger story than if we are hostile onwards and upwards blues roll on next season.

good summary, i think Rooney was poor again, i was there, the atmosphere again was rubbish, maybe that's due to Allardyce situation, thought Jags and Keane did well enough and Schneiderlin was getting back to his best before he got injured, let's hope the club make a statement soon on whether or not we have a new boos for nxt season.

To be fair (expanding on a comment I made earlier) when Bolasie switched to the right and Walcott to the left the attack threat improved and Bolasie improved. Walcotts roaming role is to be welcomed. I don't hold with those saying Rooney did nothing either, he sat deeper in the 10 role, made some good passes and put his foot in. Schneiderlin to is a totally different player than 4 games ago, it pains me to say it but Allardyce is right he is improving game by game, a little late some would say and they are right but credit to the bloke, to take all that flak from his own supporters and still come back shows his strong character. I am one of those that does now say, let Sam go but at the back of my mind he may just turn a few fans round.

Arrrgh! The football (if you can call it that) was bloody awful. In fact it was so bad I had a conversation with the missus and stopped watching it. I never talk to my missus, that’s how bad it was. And don’t kid yourself in thinking it will change if he stays. Because it won’t.
