Just read the plaudits surrounding Martin Margetson's goalkeeping coaching skills.
Can I make a suggestion that will improve Jordan's considerable shot saving skill.
I have noticed an unnatural movement that restricts his reach. Jordan tends to cross arms when going for shots. Difficult to explain but I'll try -when a goal bound effort is to his left, as the goal on Saturday, he tries to reach the ball by crossing his right arm across his chest thus losing between 18"" to 24" of reach as well as taking a split second longer to contort his body and arm and hand.
If fellow bloggers are still confused, try falling to your left and try to break your fall by putting your right hand across and down to break your fall. You'll hit the deck before you can so don't try it!

Akin to trying to run round the ball in order to get your good (natural) side on it, defenders in particular even at Prem level get caught far to often in possession because of this weakness.

There was an interview with David Seaman saying that he liked him a lot and was very impressed except for his strong arms, because he reckons he's watched him when he should be turning shots around the posts. But because of his wrist strength, he often deflects back into the box.

He's a young keeper who is brilliant and won't peak for another 5 years. Im glad he's our no1. But he does have a lot of room for improvement.
