Disgraceful the abuse Funes Mori is getting from some fans (on other sites) just for saying the Falklands are Argentine. He's only sticking up for his own country. Some of the crap you read on the echo site comments and twitter, etc, makes you feel ashamed to be English or a Scouser. At least everyone on this site seems to have a brain in their head.

{Ed0333's Note - That Echo is an insult to intelligence. The journalism is juvenile and patronizing. I stopped respecting Mori after he intentionally tried decapitating Origi in the Derby but you can’t knock his partisanship to his country.

Yep. the guy is 100% correct to make any tweet about his own country.
It was the badge kiss and red card that should be the only thing he gets a hard time for.

Funny that ed that's when i fell in love with mori hahaha only messin don't condone tha but loving his country is hardly anything to hate him for some people are too sensitive nowadays.

{Ed0333's Note - I agree mate. What’s he supposed to say the Falklands are rightfully Englands. The Argentinians lost men in the Falklands and naturally he’s going to be partisan so you can’t knock the guy. It’s like Mo Salah saying he things the England is nicer than Egypt can you imagine the kickback?

The one i thought of was ademola lookman over in germany, if he put a post up n support of english soldiers that lost lives during ww2 would the germans lose there heads or just say well he's english why wouldn't he? English people are too soft now that's what is wrong with this country.

{Ed001's Note - people seem to just look for things to get upset about.}

Just an opinion about something. However does commenting on 'controversal' matters bring negativity to the club in general terms. Not saying Mori was wrong but i see a lot of fallouts from opinions being made on certain topics. I am a representative of my company so have to behave in such ways to preserve the company's reputation. Should footballers do the same?
