Here comes the get rid of SA posts. We lost, we are a bang average side at best. Sam is the best manager for job at the moment. Name a better option?

Stop the negativity. get behind the club at this difficult time.

Him and Steve Walsh need to go for bringing in Tosun. Rabbit in the headlights. Not sure how you can say he’s the best man for the job with his negative lineups, negative substitutions and negative style of play.

We have become the most boring team in the prem thanks to fat Sam, and I see the holiday in Dubai worked? what.

SA will manage this season to the extent of getting results at home and anything away will be a bonus. It’s small time, it’s survival mode and it’s pretty crap tbh. I want this guy gone by the end of May.

I can’t stand what I see. It’s business football not entertaining football. And as a spectator and not an invester I’m just not happy.

With SA I just get the feeling that the team is set out to make his role in this club justified. And honestly I am not joking when I say that I preferred the Martinez football that at least had a bit of integrity to the game, which this crap we are being served up clearly doesn’t.

Perhaps we are seeing how empty the cupboard had been for years. Moyes won it with smoke and mirrors, Martinez coasted on Moye's solid yet dull system, and RK was just a mess. We have a number of quality players with no system, and no experience playing as a unit.

Sam can get the club to safety, then it will be a big summer of clearing things out, proper training, and team building. Who the manager may be is.

Just athought, based on recent rumors and banter. Big Sam becomes DOF and Raffa or Silva or Howe or? as manager?

Once we get to safety, we can play all the youngsters like an early pre-season.

I did like Tosun's hip check on Defo.

Have to say (and I being an advocate of Sam for some time) that perhaps Koeman if given time would have got the same results and dare I say it eventually improved us. That was a truly awful game and for Sam to find positives out of that is treating us as idiots.

SA as DOF, you are joking right? The man couldn't direct piss into a 6ft bowl.
The negativity and direness of the stuff he perceives as football is a joke, at the 70 minute mark we had Tosun up top in the opposition half alone, 20 minutes to go, at a Watford side that ain't all that and he went all defensive to hold on for a goalless draw, that is absolutely diabolical.
I thought the first half as poor as the game was, we looked like the team in control, we should have then went with a 4-4-2 and took the game to Watford.
Then to top it off, we go a goal down and he takes the 2 players that can score from any were off the pitch so actually reduces our goal threat. Any fan who defends this man needs to lock themselves in a padded room with a straight jacket.

I feel your pain DFS. I said give him the benefit of the doubt and see what improvements are made with new recruits in January. Well he’s had his window, he’s had a holiday in Dubai and the football (if you can call it that) is still bad.

Call it wishful thinking or sheer fantasy, but to expect SA to change his playing philosophy at this stage of his career is just madness. We played it safe, we will be safe and we deserve nothing more.

Let’s hope that he’s gone as soon as it is safe to do so.
