I want to comment on Tosun or more accurately the issues that his signing and subsequent treatment have thrown up.
We were told that the failure to replace Lukaku was the reason why it had all gone wrong. Putting aside all the valid points about Lukaku leaving was not exactly a surprise and we should have had plans a-z in place before he moved and fast forward to this window.
We sign Tosun. He is billed as the answer to a maiden's prayer; the man that will resolve all our attacking problems and be the teeth of the team where there were none before.
As I have said previously, no player signed from the Turkish league has ever transformed an English Premier League side. It was highly unlikely that Tosun would be the first to do so and more importantly unfair to expect him to do so That point is hammered home by the fact that by the end of the window he cannot command a place in the team and when an extra striker is brought on it is Calvert-Lewin and not Tosun. There is something seriouslu awry with the recruitment at the club.

Agree wholeheartedly with your comments, but it's not just Tosun. Almost all of the players signed by whoever in the last couple of windows are either just average, sitting on the bench, still trying to adjust to the prem league or sent out on loan. It beggars belief that this is going on at our club. What I'd like to know where does the buck stop for making decisions on transfer, is it Walsh or the manager or Moshiri? I'm sure that when Moshiri came in with the promises of making us a top four club a lot of us said, at last someone with money to invest in quality players. Well plenty of money spent allright but I would love to know where the quality is.

Tosun was just a recent and stark illustration.

I'm disagreeing but.
We all seem to think that players are not allowed any time to settle in a foreign country anymore.

I'd wager 70% of successful imports had a tricky 1st 12months.

Sure the money these days entitles us to expect instant results.
I'm sure that the club especially with those clowns in charge, will do their evil best to poison the club so next season is also another wasted one trying to regain ground we've lost.

I can't believe anyone thought B. S. was a good idea. All because we got too precious about an arrogant Dutch man who didn't communicate entirely kissing EFC backside.
He would have had us about where we are. But he would have been a much better coach for the negative experience.

Oh well. get him and all his cronies out and get a forward thinking coach.
Embarrassed us yesterday and himself in the interviews. He's a moron.
