Just watching Chelsea vs arsenal, if there was any chance of signing Wilshire we should, he's everywhere, also I didn't even realise Barkley was even playing, don't think he's much of a lose from what I've just been watching.

Agree, Barkley hasn’t changed one bit, still falls over and trying those spins of his. Maybe he’ll learn from some of the quality players they have in the reserves. Can’t see him lasting there. Not our problem anymore.
As for Wiltshire, yes agree he does have quality, just a little fragile.

He wasn't that impressive, but I think he showed with us what he is capable of. He needs to show some consistency. he may struggle to get in that team unless he shows more. But we could say that about the players we bought to replace him. I am concerned about our set pieces. Sig was the big assist at Swansea. they scored from lots of set pieces. we just don't seem to get it right at the mo.

Wilshire is the best Midfielder in PL when fit sign him up.

Wilshere the best midfielder in the league. How?

Wilshere does his usual sprint 5 yards pass sideways continue running until he runs into someone and falls over. Dunno how he’s been fooling people for years with it, nowhere near the best midfielder in the league.

As for Barkley, another who is garbage.

{Ed001's Note - Wilshere has such an awful touch as well. He would have scored if he did not do his usual close control of putting the ball so far away he had to stretch to reach it! Drives me mad how overrated he is and how every 2 yard pass is greeted with verbal masturbation from the commentators.}

Wow Ed001 that is almost word for word what I said about him in a previous post. we agree 100% on something at last! lol. Yeah I said he is like a kid who you are trying to teach close control. but is so quick he keeps pushing the ball too far ahead. so then has to stretch. and consequently is over stretched and ends up injured. His style is like Messi but without ball control. Messi keeps the ball close. Wilshire knocks it ahead and stretches!

{Ed001's Note - that is what I have been saying about him for years. It drives me mad watching him, why has no one ever taught him to keep the ball tighter in? Immediately that would reduce his injury risk by half at least, just that one little thing.}

Agreed 100%. It is like watching that little kid who is faster than anyone else when they first start playing and you know he has the capability to keep the ball closer to feet and not tempt in the tackle from the opponent. yet you tell him and tell him. then watch him go out on the pitch and immediately get excited and push it 5 yards ahead. so the big defensive midfielder steps in and because the little kid is committed. bang. and up in the air he goes. I wonder how many opposing players have been booked or sent off when making genuine tackles on him. but his momentum actually causes him to go into the defender? It is daft really because that one bit of coaching could improve his game and reduce his injury risk by loads.

{Ed001's Note - I am shocked none of his coaches have noticed to be honest.}

He is just a Ham footballer.

Me too Ed. But would guess he has been coached it but just can't get it into his head? As they say. you can lead a horse to water.

{Ed001's Note - good point, he is not the brightest bulb in the box even when the rest have blown.}
