Something is definitely wrong with the fitness tempo of our players we still seem half a yard off the pace like we have all season our midfielders have no dribble ability to create chances our full backs and centre backs are second rate to our competitors we must be the worst team in the division for attractive football, just hope we can survive, we need a Ball Harvey Kendal in midfield.

We have no movement and that comes from the training ground.

I hope that we are not burdening Walcott with too much. It appears that we are expecting him to pull yhe team out of the Slough of Despond in which it currently wallows. It is a big ask. He is just as likely to be sucked into that Slough by the lack of movement in midfield and the unwillingness/ inability to offer support to forward players.
Best of luck Theo.

It is Sam's job to come in and assess the team. Then he makes the call on what players he needs. Simple answers were, striker and LB. Add to that the type of players he needs to make a success in the prem. He has done this enough to be able to judge what he needs. Problem is he has never been able to form a team to attack so can't quantify the need for a box to box midfielder. His 1st question to Walsh should have been, go get me a striker, LB and box to box midfielder and if there's enough money left get me a pacey winger.
The transfers smack of Moshiri and Walsh pulling the strings. Why do you think Moshiri came out saying he saw Tosun in Monaco and we buy him. The we buy an ex arsenal player with pace.
Big Sam has no power over who we buy or he would have been stamping his feet for a LB, CB and striker.

Smit, well said, Koeman took the blame for an overpaid scouts doing! Walsh is not a DOF and our oversubscribed number 10 position proves this, I say get rid of the DOF role, put Walsh as head scout and give the manager the last say on recruitment.

I was convinced that Walsh was picking the side when Koeman was in charge and then Unsworth and I'm still convinced that's the case, the managers have changed, yet the style or lack of it and certain players playing when they shouldn't, Schneids for instance haven't and the only person still here is Walsh, I may be paranoid but think about it, was yesterday any different to early season with Koeman?
