So many on here hate Sam and want him gone, each to their own opinion i guess. However, i hear Walcott chose to come here because he wants to work with Allardyce. I honestly expected him to favour a move back to Southampton so now very happy to see him in our famous blue. It appears that Sam may have some pulling power when it comes to bringing in players after all. I don't know why this is, but if players want to come to us purely because of the manager we have then his appointment has great benefits.

Because Alardyce doesn't talk BS and has a personality. Never the less I still do not like the pundits predictions visa vis lineups even with Walcots arrival and to be honest if it continues I just do not understand it. Most still have Rooney through the middle with Siguurdson (arguably the most creative) out on the left wing.

Every player that moves to a club says the same thing.

We need to lay off the Sam thing and stop trying to convince people to like or hate him. Whether it's you don't like him or do, it doesn't matter. Let's start talking football for a change.

every player when they join a club say its down to the manager. its a thing they can think of when getting interviewed by a club, I suspect the fact were not as low as Southampton twisted his arm with rooney also being a factor.
