I don't think we need to make the same mistakes as in the summer and sign a load of players. Realistically we are looking at 7th or 8th in league no matter what.

Rather spend on quality and get 1 rather than 3 or 4. The only immediate position needing covering is left back - so rather than 20 million for Walcott - why not pay that for a young left back - we paid top dollar for Baines and he has proven his worth without a doubt.

Mori to come back leaves centre backs well covered - although one of jags/ Williams needs replacing in summer - I think we are being linked with Charlton center back

Goalkeeper fine

Right back - fine

Midfield - need the balance but gueye lookman Dowell bollasie Davies there is quality there - maybe besic jmac and schniderlin move on and that frees up cash for summer for midfielder (is it not with giving klasson a few games to see if he had the potential first)

Up front we are looking better now. Personally I'd like to see Sandro and the new lad given a chance together as I think Sandro could come good - obviously siggertson starts most games with Sandro coming on. Haven't even mentioned Rooney or new Nigerian lad who should be ready next year post injury.

Sensible post a new LB is all we really need and we only need cover there until the end of the season so maybe a loan or recall one of the youngsters. So unless we get our first choice pick in this window then we should wait. As for the balance of the side then I IMO it all depends on the managers formation RM and RK looked to play 4-3-3 or something like a 3-4-2-1 more than 4-4-2, hence we don't have wide mids that are good at defending as well as attacking. This maybe why we have a shed load of CM and wingers/ forwards that can play out wide. So unless we go back to a 4-4-2 the the balance is probably okay. I also agree we should give the new players more time to bed in as I think we have a couple of good prospects in Vlasic, Sandro and Klassen is still trying to find his feet as in the prem.

Who are you watching week in/ week out?
We need pace. We don't create chances. A LB might help that but not by much.
Also I'm not sure if you've ever seen Mori play but I can assure you he wasn't great before he got injured. On the ball he is terrible and his defending is only marginally better.
Mori was our worst defender when our defenders were good. So he ain't going to look much better now.

I wouldn't move JMac out since he came back he's looked the player we all remember when he first signed Schniederlin on the other hand I would sell at any price to get him off the wage bill as he adds nothing to the team.
