Having read how the fee and add-ons for Cenk Tosun have been structured, perhaps some fans could be less impatient when transfer negotiations aren't completed as quickly as they imagine they should.

Barkley transferred to Chelsea in x1 day. Catiniho to Barcelona in x2 days. Van Dijk to Liverpool in x1 day.

Sandro to us x3 months. Cenk x3 weeks. Giroud x2 months in ground and didn’t sign. Sissiko stood up meeting. i'm glad he didn’t come mind!

I realise they take time but we seem to announce our interests far to early then really struggle to get them to sign.

Something is not right? PR thing.

Not about being inpatient - about doing it right and professional.

The three transfers you mention were clearlly not done in a few days - each one was started at least as long ago as last Summer’s transfer window if not earlier. They were just delayed until now for various reasons, but I’m sure had already been agreed in essence and just needed registering at the start of this transfer window.
