Liverpool fan viewpoint, you boys were much better without Rooney, he was a red card waiting to happen. Lookman looks a prospect and you need to get gylfi in the number ten more often, think getting a striker will help. You kept us quiet until the pen, won’t even get into that one but think it’s soft. There was a spell in the second half where we looked dangerous but I would say you kept us quiet for the majority of the game.
Any idea what happened with Holgate? he didn’t take to kindly to something fimino said but I hope it was just frustration boiling over for giving away a pen.
Good luck for the rest of the season, except against us.

Fair comment WYred. Rooney a good player still but the others seem to regard him with awe, as a consequence everything goes through him and at times slows the game down. You are quite right on Siguurdson, once in his proper position the man is a player. Loads of us have passed the same comment as you on Lookman. Yes the penalty was soft but as we say, swings and roundabouts. 2 - 1 cost you an additional 75 million, hope that does not detract from your mortgage payments to Everton FC PLC.

Rooney is good but I would bring him off the bench, you need to build for the future and he is your past, Everton have some very good prospects.

I think Rooney wanted so much to be the hero he tried extra hard but it came out in the wrong way, he didn’t try to injure he wanted to show the fans he’s still got it/ cares. He’s still got the talent but maybe lacks the intelligence in the gear of the moment? Good game lads, meaty yet no injuries, a interesting show and a few goals. I’m sure you’ll stay up and I hope you’d keep climbing. Onwards and upwards for all things Merseyside!
