Just hope the vitriolic brigade don't get on his back.

Fair enough Ed025. He's not everyone's cup of tea and I can see why. I'm with GuernseyBlue however. Big Sam knows his stuff and what he done with Bolton was brilliant. Took them from nothing to top 4 and also attracted big names while being there.

His personal life and choices doesn't help him. A bit like Bill Clinton while he was top dog. Bad personal choices ruined his brilliant career. It doesn't take away both these men's credentials when it comes to undertaking there job.

Big Sam will do what he's brought in for IMHO. He'll put us in the right direction. I'm very confident of that.

{Ed025's Note - i suppose its down to personal choice NBTB, as a manager i think he is very good at what he does im just not a fan of his as a person mate, i still want him to do well for the clubs sake though..

Completely agree ed. I'll support the club and hope he does well because we will be doing well. Not a great fan of his but he just might convert me if he behaves himself and provides success for the club.
Just wanna say sometimes out of the ashes, a Phoenix will soar. I certainly hope so with us.

{Ed025's Note - i will take a lot of persuading geoff but as they say mate...never say never..

Sadly GB that plea will fall on deaf ears, mainly due to the fact that those in the vitriolic brigade will have no idea what the word vitriolic means.

Great word by the way and used in the right context, nice job.

{Ed025's Note - i cant argue with that mate..

I'll support the team and back anyone trying to get three points for my club.

The sooner he's done fleecing our club and out of it the better for me but whilst he's there I want win after win.

So bring on 18 months of sky watching and a bad neck! I used to love watch the grass grow.

A few of my mates follow Bolton, even now they follow them home and away, not one of them had anything bad to say about Sam, he will get ateam playing but one thing he will not stand for is passengers in the team, they said you will find a few not keen on Sam but they reckon he will win the doubters over with his knack of getting results and performances out of players, that’s good enough for me.

Not my choice long term but we were in the brown stuff and, like it or not, he is the specialist in digging you out of that.

His work with Bolton was nothing more than miraculous, his managerial work after that was fire fighting, and his ill-fated role with England showed the worst side of football.

All that aside, he knows his stuff and that's what we need. Don't like the guy ethically but I'm behind him all the way.
