Dyche has got be the man. Not my firsth choice from the start and ideally a higher calibre like Benitez or Ancelotti. But at this moment he is someone we need and from the current candidates is our best option. Silva is very unproven and does worry me it’s a big risk. I don’t know that much about him but his record is not that great. We need someone who can get the team playing with passion like Unsworth has but also someone who can get us organised and back to basics. He does remind me of Moyes who to be honest I would have had before Allardyce and Silva etc.
Worried Evertonian, looking ahead at fixtures and really not looking forward to derby game.

{Ed0333's Note - For me it has to be Benitez all day long mate. Assimilation in to the area wouldn’t be a problem and he will hit the ground running. I think you guys need some tactical guile and someone who has a comprehensive knowledge of the Premiership. And I say this with hand on my heart I don’t think most Liverpool fans will give Benitez any stick for taking the job. I would love to see Rafa at a Everton and given money to spend. You could do a lot worse. I’m not sure how it would go down with the Everton fans though.

I and most evertonians would love him but I don’t think he would leave Newcastle to come to us at the moment. Maybe in the summer just gone but I feel we have gone backwards 2yrs this season. I agree he ticks all the boxes and I’m sure if he came to Goodison he would see the error of his ways previously being at our neighbors nobody’s perfect and he will realise then that the blues are the pride of Merseyside.

{Ed0333's Note - thanks for the chortle mate. In all seriousness he deserves a good job.

He loves it on Merseyside and when he was Chelsea boss he sort of hinted that he would take the job after Moyes left (may have been after he was Chelsea boss I can’t remember)

He’s a winner, and I mean that in every sense, Koeman achieved stuff as a player but nothing as a manager, Benitez has won European trophies and managed some of the biggest clubs in the world in Real and Inter, I think he’d be fantastic

Would sort this shambles of a defence out, completely forgot about Rafa, outside of Simeone or Emery he’d be my first choice.

{Ed0333's Note - Let’s start a Benitez for Everton campaign on these pages?

Start a campaign worldwide, I want planes over Newcastle for the next month for him to join

That and I’d like us to send Kenwright to stalk him for the next few weeks until he agrees to chat to Moshiri then don’t let him leave the room until he becomes Everton manager

May be a bit forceful but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Rafa or Big Sam or Yergen Klinsmann or just sting a random bunch of names together.

We need someone who can keep this team from playing in League One in two years time.
