I think if we pick Unsworth as manager, we will be going back 5 yrs . take the blue tinted glasses off, for a moment. He has no experience, he looks way out of his depth, and we got a very lucky win against Watford. If anybody reading this invested all their money in a club would u want a total novice in charge of it, or an experienced manager such as Big Sam who guarantees results. Because if Unsworth gets the job he will be gone by Xmas, then the board will be begging Big Sam as our situation will be a lot worse.

wasn't a bad read until you mentioned big Sam who in my view if he gets the job it's dragging our club back to the stoneage yes unsworth has no exoeriance at the top level but he knows how much it means to play for our great club and you can't judge him on his 4 games in charge 3 of them away and against top teams and against Watford can you please explain to me how it was lucky at 2 nil down the players heads could of dropped and just give in but they never they dug in and got a fantastic result now I don't know if unsworth is the answer but I know Sam isn't.

I completely agree with you Rich, passion yes, experience and knowledge, not so much. It was a lucky win against Watford, however sometimes that's what it takes to kick start a belief that games can be won if you go behind. Over the past few months we have gone behind and just caved. If we can get to the transfer window in mid table we have a chance of stabilising if we can get a decent forward in. Even a 10 goal a season guy will do for now as it's better than what we have. The summer is the best time to look for a new manager, just hope we can last out that long. I will continue to support David and his passion, I just hope the players do also.

I think if Big Sam could guarantee results he would be managing the top club in Europe every year. No one can guarantee results. How is a ten goal a season guy better than what we already have? I'll wager both DCL and Naisse get more than 10 goals this season and possibly Rooney. Keeping clean sheets is our problem not scoring and it has been since the start of the season. That's just my opinion though.

Still think it was a little lucky BLUEY79, however you make your own luck and we did that by digging in. With the top teams this season flying, it is likely that 32 points will give premiership survival. Not saying we should be settling for that, however with 4 winnable games coming up before Christmas, we could find ourselves in a reasonably comfortable position. I think that with a more relaxed mind-set, we do have the quality in the team to move forward. We just need our manager to understand that we need pace out wide and able runners up top, and as big Sam says, "make your first pass a forward pass" too much keeping the ball by knocking it around allowing teams time to get a bank of 4 back to snuff out any attack. Fingers crossed for the remainder of 2017.

How was it lucky. We haven't won a game from being 2-0 down in years.
Please explain why it was lucky. As mentioned. Heads could of dropped. They didn't and the team fought hard. I don't get how it was lucky.

I'm with you Mowfee I'm baffled how people can say it was lucky it was hard work from the players and to say it was lucky is disrespectful.
