Picking a team to win at the moment means leaving out some of the so called big names bought. but personally at the moment from what we have seen, injuries allowing I would go for the following team in the hope of a better balance but with a bit of experience at the back to fight our way up

Pickford
Holgate jags keane baines
gana
Vlasic Davis lookman
Rooney Calvert Lewin.

Leave Rooney out for Christ sakes.

That's a good team Oscar. As in at the moment. Sig is not worth his place for me. Not putting him down. He just hasn't delivered as Klaassen hasn't either. Rooney up top with DCL is good pick imho. We were worse against Burnley with no Rooney. Can't see why everyone is blaming him.

He may not be delivery at the moment but please tell me, who is delivering better than him?

Judge Sigs when he gets a run in his actual position, I would play him over Rooney myself like as the number 10.

{Ed025's Note - me too gray..

Fair enough bluegray87 you have my opinion, I have mine. So far and I know its early days but is he any improvement on Barkley? Who doesn't seem to have a hope of getting on when fit. Be the first signing made in January. Either by Spurs or Chelsea who are ahead of us.

Thing is I'm a Koeman man. I back him as much as I can but some of his decisions are very funny. Not playing Lookman or any wide player. Looks like he was covering himself by signing Klaassen, Rooney and Sig. Imho he thought he wouldn't get all three but ended up getting them. Then not knowing what to do with them.

Not saying I want Koeman gone. Still backing him but I'm not blind in my support. Some of his decisions are baffling.
