I never wanted RM as manager and I was happy to see him go. I couldn't stand his arrogance, his over-the-top praise of his players, his positive spin on every bad performance or his constant BS in post-match interviews. Us fans cried out for someone to get a grip of the squad and we got his polar opposite to replace him. RK is a disciplinarian, no doubt about it. But he has managed to alienate players with his brutally honest opinions, Ross and Kev spring to mind. RK likes to slate his players in the press when he should maybe keep these things in-house. And today he has proved to be up there in the BS stakes in his interview after this afternoons shambles. It smacks of a man who already knows his fate. At least RM had a plan, of sorts, RK doesn't seem to have one or at least it isn't very noticeable. In the end, the thing that will get him the chop is a trait he shares with our last manager and that's stubbornness.
His team selection are predictable and tedious. We play too narrow and always with two holding midfielders at the expense of some creativity on the wings. Our FB's are isolated most of the time, having to pass backwards as there is nobody in front of them. RK bemoans the fact that Bolasie is out injured but where will he play him when fit? No other winger seems to get a look in. Vlasic was quite effective cutting in from out wide in the opening exchanges today so it is absolutely crazy that RK instructed him to play more centrally in the 2nd half.
Williams is not good enough, I wince whenever the ball goes near him, he's a liability. Martina much the same, the two are targeted by the opposition every week and we can't afford to have two weak links out of four in the back-line. Holgate and Kenny are the future and should be ahead of the other two. I'd rather they make mistakes and learn from them as they get valuable experience. They couldn't do much worse.
It seems to me, and I could be wrong, that he has lost the dressing room now and I don't think he will ever get it back. I wasn't down with the 'RK out' brigade but he is backing himself into a corner with every point we drop and I just can't see how he turns things around.
Final pooint, and I apologise for rambling, what is the relationship between Walsh and Koeman? Who sanctioned the purchases of 3 number 10's? We knew we needed a new CF months in advance so it was daft to bring in all 3 and not secure a goal scorer. Walsh needs to buck up his ideas for me too. Here's to the next home game when we go through it all again! COYB.

Hit the nail on the head. My whole issue with walsh and koeman is forget the three number tens for a min. But we all knew lukaku was off. we had the whole transfer window to get in a decent replacement and didnt. that's the issue for me. When we get high up the pitch we just don't have a target man to look for.

A club's decision to buy an assist king for 45million without a target to hit is suicide. We actually bought a shoe for a footless leg. This decision alone deserved someone to get the chop. I fear the players we bought are loosing value rapidly. If we continue with this manager we could loose far more than his settlement.

Superb summarization Blue Potato could not have put it better . Whole club is in free fall and has been for some time . The CF issue is beyond words and incompetence is not a strong enough word to use and as Talaghblue said if he not shown the door loosing his compensation money could be a very small loss compared to relegation .
Loose at BHA then we have Arsenal we could be doomed!
Now the players are complaining we as fans are upsetting them with our groans etc .
What's the new sponser Angry Birds more like Moaning Tarts.
