ed your opinion please, i personally think we should put dunc and unsy in charge for time being to get the players heads up restore some faith in the younger lads and get some passion in the changing rooms, what u think ed.

{Ed025's Note - i think the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off djr, i cant see where we go from here, poor defence, little or no attack, 2 full backs who should be call pass backs, no pace, no plan and no goals, and people wonder why the crowd are quiet!!!, things are bad and i cant see a way out of it with koeman in charge to be honest mate..

Peeps we need to be careful that our expectations do not outweigh our abilities. Before Morishi came along we were a mediocre team who seemed to have more chance of contesting for a championship place rather than a champions league place. Just because we suddenly become one of the top 8 rich clubs in the PL does not mean that European qualification and domestic success comes with it. As with clubs, managers also fall into categories. We were never going to attract a Champions League standard manager whilst players did not see us as a CL type club. The best we could hope for is to attract a Europa League standard manager who sees us as a gamble who would buy the players he can work with and take him to CL status. If it works then we benefit as well. I doubt that RK was first choice, but he was one of the fringe managers who was been touted about as a possible successor to take over at Arsenal or Barcelona. However, to fall into that category he would have to prove himself at a lower standard such as domestic trophies and the Europa league. We have been used to make do and mend type managers working to low budgets to do the best possible with a hope of a cup run here and a possible European qualification there. We need to accept that this new type of expectation comes complete with a new type of mindset. Some of the players we have (that he inherited) either cannot or are incapable of achieving this standard required. Some we have are young and can learn, and others like Rooney can adapt as they have seen it all before and know that adapting is what it takes. We are 7 games into the season, seen mixed performances ranging from brilliant and almost beating city to pathetic with no idea as against spurs. We are at a transformation stage in our history and need to accept that for every 4-5 steps forward there will be 1-2 backward ones to follow. The time to judge RK is at the end of the season, but until then, we need for him to judge us as fans who want to support him in whatever actions he takes to help make us great again. Back the manager and the players will respond likewise. Let’s give him the same chance he has been given by someone who believed in us to put his money in and give him this opportunity.

Sorry Nick if we leave it to the end of the season we could be relegated and to be honest way we playing I would not bet on us coming back up .
With new ground on the horizon the gamble is even greater.

'For every 4-5 steps forward'
That made me laugh, we don't even take 2 steps forward its backwards and sideways with our set up.
