Right. the time has come to give Niasse a go. He actually looked really good for the 23's the other night. He's better than DCL at the moment and more importantly he's a goal scorer

Koeman needs to stick his nose back on and get him in.

The expectations on this guy are extraordinary. He's scoring goals in u23s not the champions league!

He scored 4 goals last year in 17 games. He's never been prolific. He might have improved slightly but stop thinking this guy is our saviour. You'll all be slating him ths first sign of a bad touch or pass which he will do because the guys composure is woeful.

I'm not saying don't give him a go but he is NOT the answer. The whole 11 that plays IS the answer. They need to play as a team with intensity, aggression and as Koeman said confidence.

Agree he may not be the answer but as the board and manager failed to bring in the most important transfer in a striker we've got to make do with what we've got.

Sigurdsson was a pointless signing as we've got no one for him to aim for at the moment.

No pace in the team whatsoever means we are completely innefective in the attack.

And saying we will all slate him is irrelevant imo as the guys who are currently playing are doing no better.

It's not like we are flying atm and bringing him in would throw him under the bus.

Tbh I think like most of us I'm just looking for ideas because at the moment it looks more likely we will be relegated than be challenging for the top 7.

How much pace have we lost Sir Loin? Lukaku had pace but so has DLC to some extent. Schneidelin is quicker than Barry and Klassen is as quick if not quicker than Barkley. Aside from Delofeu who never got a game we still have the same wingers. What we are missing in pace is Bolasie and Coleman which we managed without for a chunk of last season but we cannot do anything about that.
I believe our pace has been lost because the players have not gelled yet and I am sure that will only improve the more games they play.

The reason Niasse should be given a go is the fact that the rest of the team have played pathetically without passion or any idea or conviction, so Niasse, Kenny, Lookman and all those who haven't had a chance should be played, at least against Sunderland, because it can't get any worse than Spurs or Atalanta, performance wise.

It's not so much that we have lost Pacey player. It's the fact that without Rom in the team to win us games we need pace and at the min we have none.

Look at them lot with mane salah and coutinho. city with aguero, Jesus and sterling plus more.

I could go on tbh.

I don't see how any footy fan couldn't see that pace is the problem for us coupled with someone to hit.

You are comparing us with city who have 2 of the best number 9s in the league or liverpool who don't have a no 9 but 3 of the best false 9s in the league. Even with Lukaku we needed to improve the team to break the top 6/ 4 and we have done that. It will take time and like when Tottenham sold Bale sometimes you have to take a step back to take 2 forward.

My point was the top teams all have pace. Instead of addressing that issue and bringing in pace and a striker we wasted money on Klassen, Sigurdsson and Rooney who are all slow and play the same position.

The last few performances are probably the worst I have ever seen from an Everton team and something has to change now.

I'll take getting beat by the top 4 teams but it's the manner of are performances at the moment that is a real worry.
