Palace are disgraceful if you bring in a manager to play the ajax way which takes years to implement then back him, they honestly thought it would be done in 4 games.

{Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Did you watch Palace yesterday? They were brilliant. OK they got beat and didn't score, but they played some lovely football. How can they sack him 4 games in? There you have all that is wrong with modern day football and modern day 'microwave' fans (and owners) ! an absolute disgrace. Take note and take heed all those who are grumbling about Ronnie.

Nothing wrong in grumbling about Ronnie. I don't think that anyone is really suggesting that he be replaced. Just wish that he would stop being so dogmatic in his opinions of certain players.

Think the de Boer issue is more tham just results on the pitch. Think he was quite disruptive in the dressing room and various other issues in the background.

I agree Pierre, thought they played well against Burnley, and but for a couple of sitters missed and some very good defending. They could easily have won the game. Didn't look like a team who where not playing for the manager.

1940Mike - I would have agreed until I saw he'd brought Niasse back into the fold.

Granted Koeman may have been too vocal in some of his opinions, but I'd be fairly irritated too by the way Barkley behaved after he'd been consistently inconsistent but still offered a huge new contract.

Just a thought, but maybe Koeman thinks he can build a system with three natural numbers 10s interlinking to stretch defences and create opportunities once they get to know each other's games. Quality CBs have the experience to nullify a big front man but a fluid front three could be a nightmare, particularly given that Rooney, Sig, Klaassen and Sandro can all finish.

OK, maybe that's wishful thinking.
