Better than Henderson 'Everton fans rave about this under 21 year old'. Cracked a rib at that one. My 10 year old is better than Henderson.

I hate this sort of gratuitous insult. In truth Henderson is a decent hardworking player. I think just short of true international class. Keep criticism of any player constructive and rationale. Let me know the name of your 10 year old. I hope he fulfils his potential. I'll follow his career with interest.

if Henderson played for stoke or palace he wouldn't get near the England team I used to love watching our national team but now you get picked by who you play for or your reputation.

Henderson as england captain is a joke, plays for a team who the media love, outside of that he would never get a game, he is not prem standard, much less england.

Strange that he was first capped as a Sunderland player but never let the facts get in the way of a prejudice.

{Ed007's Note - Henderson one and only cap without being a Liverpool player was in 2010 for a friendly against France, that night he made his debut alongside Andy Carroll and Jay Boothroyd. Henderson's next cap came 2 years later - a year after he moved to Anfield.}

Your point?

{Ed007's Note - It's self-explanatory.}

Because he fits in with everything the FA are about, imagine Gazza in this era would not be in the squad because of his antics difference is he used to do it on the pitch and that squad used to have fun and enjoy the tournaments, something that is missing now, it must feel like torture joining up with England.

Glennk do you seriously think Henderson, the same player who Liverpool fans branded not fit for the shirt for a season after he signed, would be any were near the England set up if he was still at Sunderland? I think not! Personally I hope Tom keeps getting overlooked, as the England setup with Gareth 'Pizza Hut' Southgate as the manager is a joke and being in and around a setup which suffers more disappointment than an all you can eat buffet when you are nil by mouth will hinder his progress. Just to add, the comments about Davies were from non Everton supporting England fans so can't really base it on bias either.
