Just seen a Twitter video from Portugal tv saying we bid for Jimenez at half 10 tonight as a last ditch attempt and now we have until 1am to get the deal done. Can anyone clarify this please. X.

Was rejected by benfica mate. Mitroglu joined Marseille so they would have been left short. Think we really wanted him we should have gone in much earlier.
