Also it's not just the Sigurdsson deal it's every deal has come to a halt.

It does seem abit like that, and now seemed like we are waiting to sell before we can commit to buying other players, so intact we only had the lukaku money in the first place, so if he didn't leave would we have spent so much on the players we brought in, hope it's not the case and we push on with other targets and have a real good go.

11 new signings and still 3 weeks to go, how many signings will it take to make you happy?

Grumpy. That is not the point. According to the latest from The Telegraph, it is in danger of collapse. A deal was apparently agreed for 45 mill up front. Everyone happy, then Everton come back and want to renegotiate. As I said earlier and previous, Everton just cannot help themselves at times. It is a wonder they have any feet left to stand on with all those bullet wounds.

Dont you mean the rags can't help themselves? Nobody knows what's happening behimd the scenes just make assumptions on what we read. Every1 should just chill out and let the club do what they think is best.

Or how about this scenario Grumpy old chap et al! We continue to dither (having apparently put that behind us only to resurrect) , that other lot sell Coutino for a mega fee, then jump in and pay Swansea the 50. That will sit well, will it.

But Bill the point is that we have had the best ever transfer window in our history and there are people who are still not happy. If the Sigi deal collapses then it is still our best ever transfer window. No one except Swansea and a few members on here believe he is worth the £50m asking price so why worry if we do not get him?

The fact is yes we have had a great transfer window, but by the looks of it, it was down to the fact we new lukaku was leaving and had money, now we aren't sure if any of our players will be sold and how much for, is this why we won't commit to getting gilfi over the line, we've been told there will be money to spend, but have said we have only spent 7 million, so next year when we don't have a big name to sell, how much money for transfers will we have then, so mori hasn't so far put any cash in it's all been generated from the sale of lukaku. i'm very happy with what we have done, but as we have all seen we are still lacking up front.
